The retreat was amazing. Prana Del Mar retreat center was luxurious, beautiful, quiet and had the most amazing food. Amie Heeter led a magical retreat that was potent, powerful and spacious. Amie draws on a deep and vast breadth of knowledge and experience and also makes every practice accessible and adaptable. I loved this retreat and would highly recommend Amie!

What an amazing experience. I was exposed to a daily dose of discipline and pleasure during this retreat as we beaconed our inner and outer sensibilities. This occurred due to the stellar structure that was created by Amie as our guide through the process of welcoming sacred space. Amie is an astute guide, teacher, and practitioner. She is so capable of creating a safe container for the asanas, but also into the meditative depths of Yoga Nidra, and our open discussions of these varied processes. An important aspect that needs to be mentioned is the very organized WeTravel/Prana del Mar with their high standards (the entire grounds, buildings, and accommodation were impeccably clean and well appointed. Another aspect that made the retreat so enjoyable were the extremely professional and friendly staff, with a big acknowledgment to the chef and kitchen staff. Every meal was incredibly delicious and nutritional, which provided us sustenance during the hours of yogic practice and side trips/adventures. The crashing of the pacific waves were such a healing chant. I am still resonating due to the connection that was created in the retreat center, yoga shala, and within all the adventures into nature (escorting baby turtles, sea kayaking with whales, body surfing, etc.), Amie was unique in her ability to lead us into the transformative dimensions of sacred space through her comprehensive yet succinct teaching style. She is seriously grounded, aware without pretense, and yet able to maintain a delightful level of levity. I left this retreat with a deepened yoga practice, a new set of friends, and a desire to return here and feel welcomed again. With gratitude and joy, Kenneth
