About this trip

Join a group of powerful women as we use the tools of yoga to connect to the source of vibrant energy within. We will gather in a private forrest to open to the flow of our creativity and wisdom. We will tap into the well within that provides us with abundant and clear energy. 


This four day, three night spring retreat will support you in fueling your life force and experiencing balance. Elizabeth will lead you through daily guided meditation and hatha flow yoga, as well as therapeutic yoga, group ritual, and connection to nature, all in the community of women seeking to embody their best self. 


During free time, you have options to schedule a massage with the Esalen trained Sara S'Jegers, take in a private sound healing session, explore wine country, walk the lush hiking path, soak in the pool or hot tub, or connect with friends. A balance of stillness and movement is sure to nourish!


Also nourishing: the food! Rachael Gorgestani, founder of The Cupboard, will craft all our vegetarian, organic, locally sourced, gluten free meals. The food is always one of my favorite parts of retreat, and Rachael nails it. She will also lead us through a cooking workshop and offer tips to integrate food into a yogic lifestyle. 


Just 60 miles north of the Bay Area, the Forestville venue holds spaciousness and beauty, with nearly 100 acres of private forrest and a hiking path that meanders through the trees and across the creek. The renovated farmhouse provides welcoming lodging with plenty of room to recharge, or if you’re feeling more rustic, enjoy the option to camp. With a prime location in world famous wine country, Sonoma County holds plenty of fun for free time: enjoy the Russian River, mountain biking, redwood hikes, wine tasting, and more.

Before You Go

Cancellation policy: I am honored to have you join this special retreat. If for any reason you have to cancel your trip, I want to work with you. If canceling before February 22nd, 2018, a refund will be granted less the $500 non-refundable deposit. After February 22nd, no refund will be granted. Payment is due in full by February 22nd, 2018. If not paid in full by February 22nd, your placement may be forfeited. 


The retreat will begin at 5:00pm on Thursday, March 22nd and end at 11:00am on Sunday, March 25th.

Hi! I'm Elizabeth, a Registered Yoga Teacher and Certified Yoga Therapist at home in the Bay Area. I am passionate about exploring the intersections of physical, mental, and emotional health. My teachings emphasize a strong body-mind-spirit connection and incorporate the traditions of Hatha, Restorative, Yin, and Therapeutic Yoga. Through yogic practices I will guide you to recognize and build upon your inherent wholeness. If I'm not practicing or teaching yoga, you can find me leading mental health groups or soaking up mother nature's wisdom through hiking, biking, climbing, or just being still.

An amazing experience that I will always hold dear in my heart!
This was a fantastic retreat! The location is beautiful, secluded and full of vistas and winding nature trails. The balance between activities and free time is perfect and Elizabeth is a gifted instructor. The food is spectacular and healthy. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking to spend a few days focusing on their health and well being. I left feeling refreshed and relaxed with a sense of peace and inner strength!
I love taking yoga classes with Elizabeth ! She is very aware of where I am at emotionally and physically and she will adjust her asanas accordingly. Always options, always checking in with oneself. I very much like that she introduces mudras and breathing practices. She is solid, earthy, and a very great person !

What a beautiful experience! Yoga with intention, beautiful and tasty food, all in a quiet forest environment. Elizabeth is a compassionate, true teacher, able to deeply connect with students. The retreat was a gift in all aspects!
