We’ll transfer to our hotel near the airport to relax and settle in.

Today, we’ll explore Vancouver on a half-day tour, capturing the city's diverse attractions.

Starting at Stanley Park, we’ll stroll along the scenic Seawall, visit the iconic Totem Poles, and enjoy stunning views of the skyline and mountains.

At Granville Island, we’ll explore the vibrant public market, artisan shops, and waterfront dining.

We’ll walk the Capilano Suspension Bridge, taking in thrilling heights and serene rainforest views, and visit the Central Mosque (Masjid A-Rahman), a beautiful cultural and spiritual space known for its distinctive architecture.

A stop in Gastown lets us admire the famous Steam Clock and cobblestone streets. We’ll end at Canada Place with the ‘FlyOver Canada’ experience, a breathtaking simulated flight showcasing Canada’s diverse landscapes—a perfect prelude to our adventure.

This morning, we’ll embark on a breathtaking journey along British Columbia’s Sea-to-Sky Highway, known for its dramatic coastal views and towering mountains. Leaving Vancouver, we’ll stop at Shannon Falls with its impressive 335-meter cascade, and, just before Whistler, enjoy a short hike to the stunning Brandywine Falls.

As we approach Whistler, enjoy the rugged beauty of the snow-capped peaks before arriving at our accommodation in the centre of this world-renowned mountain resort and host of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.

On arrival in Whistler, before checking into our accommodation, we’ll visit the Indigenous Cultural Centre. Here, exhibits from the Squamish and Lil’wat Nations highlight traditional crafts through live demonstrations, such as weaving and carving. We'll explore a traditional Longhouse, and enjoy a forest walk on the Salish Stroll. Guided by Cultural Ambassadors, we’ll participate in a "What We Treasure Tour" and create our own dreamcatchers to take home.

Leaving Whistler, we today head out towards Sun Peaks, through a diverse and scenic part of British Columbia, transitioning from alpine beauty to rolling valleys. The drive along Highway 99 takes us through dramatic landscapes, including the winding Duffey Lake Road, where we’ll stop to admire pristine lakes, dense forests, and rugged mountain vistas.

Further along the journey, the change of scenery could not be more dramatic as we exit the rugged coastal mountains and enter the desert country of wild sage and rattle snakes. Along the way, we make a scenic stop to see the mighty Fraser River roiling in the canyon below us. The sun-parched landscape has been used in many films to stand-in for locations in the USA, such as the UFO crash-landing site in the X-Files movie, supposedly set in Roswell, New Mexico.

On arrival at the charming alpine village of Sun Peaks, we’ll check into our accommodation before getting out into nature and enjoying an easy-moderate level hike in the surrounding area.

Today we embark on a breathtaking journey from Sun Peaks to Hinton in Alberta.

As we follow the historic Yellowhead Highway north, we visit the Spahats Falls in Wells Gray Provincial Park. It’s then on to the majestic Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. 

We’ll pause at the Mount Robson Visitor Centre to take in the incredible views and learn about the history and geology of the area. Shortly after, we adjust our watches one-hour ahead to Mountain Time.

Entering Jasper National Park, the drive becomes even more spectacular, with towering peaks, glacier-fed rivers, and abundant wildlife, where mountain goats, bighorn sheep and elk can often be found. 

Arriving in Hinton, located just outside Jasper’s eastern gate, we find ourselves at the doorstep of Canada’s iconic wilderness, ready for more outdoor adventures.

A short drive this morning takes us into Jasper for today’s unforgettable experience, exploring the natural wonders of this world-renowned National Park.

We’ll begin with a visit to Maligne Lake, where we’ll take a boat tour to Spirit Island, one of the most photographed spots in the Rockies.

From here, we’ll drive to the Jasper SkyTram at the base of Whistlers Mountain, where a scenic cable car ride will lift us up to breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

Afterwards, we’ll spend some time exploring Jasper Township. Nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, Jasper is a picturesque alpine town surrounded by breathtaking wilderness. As the gateway to Jasper National Park, it offers a charming blend of cosy cafes, boutique shops, and welcoming lodges, all set against towering peaks and emerald rivers.

After a day of exploring, we retreat to our cosy log cabin rooms nestled in the woods by the Athabasca River; the perfect setting to relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the Rockies.

Today’s drive from Jasper to Canmore, along the Icefields Parkway is one of the most spectacular drives in the world. Leaving Jasper, we’re immediately surrounded by the towering peaks of the Rocky Mountains as we head south on this iconic route. 

Along the way, we’ll pass through the heart of Jasper and Banff National Parks, with countless opportunities to stop and admire stunning natural landmarks like the roaring Athabasca Falls, Columbia Icefields, or the crystal-clear waters of Peyto Lake and Bow Lake, famous for their vibrant turquoise hues. 

Our next stop is the iconic Lake Louise. Marvel at the emerald waters framed by towering mountains, the famous Fairmont Château, or take a leisurely stroll along the lakeshore. Next, we head to Moraine Lake, another breathtaking glacial lake, known for its vivid turquoise colour and dramatic Valley of the Ten Peaks. Wildlife sightings are also common, with chances to spot elk, bears, and bighorn sheep. 

As we approach Canmore, the scenery becomes even more breathtaking, with jagged mountain peaks rising dramatically around us. Canmore itself is a charming mountain town, offering a relaxed atmosphere and the perfect base to explore nearby Banff.

A full day of exploring the natural beauty in and around Canmore and Banff awaits us today.

Before arriving in Banff itself, we enjoy a scenic loop-drive along Two Jack and Minnewanka Lakes, followed by an orientation drive through Banff. Here we’ll embark on a rafting adventure on the Bow River, a thrilling yet tranquil way to immerse ourselves in the beauty of the Canadian Rockies. Using stable inflatable Zodiacs, we’ll paddle through gentle rapids and serene stretches, taking in breathtaking mountain vistas and the chance to spot wildlife along the way.

It’s then on to ride the Gondola up to Sulphur Mountain for a sweeping view of the Bow Valley.

Concluding our day, we’ll return to the laid-back and quaint mountain setting of Canmore to relax, surrounded by the stunning vistas of the Canadian Rockies.

Bidding farewell to the majestic peaks of the Rockies, today we’ll be journeying to the vibrant cityscape of Alberta’s largest city. 

Enjoy one last look at the stunning mountain views before we head east along the Trans-Canada Highway, where the landscape gradually shifts from rugged peaks to the rolling foothills of the prairies.

As we arrive in the city we’ll take a visit to the Calgary Tower, offering a 360-degree view of the city skyline and the surrounding landscape. Stroll through the scenic Prince’s Island Park along the Bow River. We’ll round off our day with a walk through the trendy neighbourhoods of Inglewood or the East Village, filled with boutiques, art galleries, and dining options.

A group dinner together tonight is the perfect way to celebrate the end of our Canadian adventure.

After a memorable journey, our time in Canada has finally come to an end.

After checking out of the hotel, a convenient shuttle service will ensure a hassle-free transfer to the airport terminal in time for your onward flight.

Where meals are not included, we will stop at a variety of local supermarkets, cafes, coffee shops and restaurants.
