About this trip

This company is A++! Their trips are epic.  Cheri and Tom try to think of everything and they are so successful at creating a great atmosphere for everyone involved.  Many things that are not usually thought of by travel companies, they go the extra mile on.  I have gone on 3 trips with them and already have 2 more booked.  I cannot wait!  
If you get the chance, I would highly recommend booking with them.  You would be pressed to  find a more welcoming group. I am single and I love that I do not have to travel by myself and think of everything on my own.  All of the worry is taken out.  They have assisted with information and timelines for visas and immunizations, etc.  
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

It was a great time, the weather was a bit cold but we made the best of it. Cruise comedy shows, theater shows and dancing events every night was great, so much fun. The food was great, dining service was long wait time, but that gave us more time to get better. Whale watching excursion was so exciting, we were able to see lots of whale, such a fun experience. 
Crystal caves, aquarium and zoo was amazing. Vanessa did an amazing job as our host, she always made sure everyone was informed of what activities were going on every day.

What an amazing trip! Everything I hoped for and more.  The accommodations were dreamy and the activities were on point. I loved the size of the group and the chance to get to know people on a deeper level. Thank you for the work you put into organizing this experience 

Fantastic trip and great people. Unfortunately, I had a little mishap on the ice and needed to go to the hospital to get checked out. Cheri stayed with me the entire time and made it so it was not as terrible to start out a trip on a low note. My most memorable souvenir was an arm sling as I tore my rotator cuff. The rest of the trip, various other participants helped me to zip up my coats/snow gear and in general just function. I was able to participate in all of the activities though some needed modification. Meaning, I was riding in the dog sled as opposed to driving it. I was the passenger on the snowmobile instead of the driver. I'm happy that I was able to participate in everything and it was so great that the group was looking out for me. And I saw the Northern Lights on 3 different nights (out of 5 that we went out), which was the purpose for the trip, so SUCCESS!

Another fantastic trip with great excursions, delicious food, great accommodations, and amazing people!  Cheri is the best at organizing and being flexible while ensuring everyone is cared for.  Thanks again!!

Punta Cana Excursions

This was my first cruise and I had a good time.  Cheri planned some great excursions that allowed a lot of opportunity to see the parts of the islands I was interested in...not just sit at a beach.  We also had some knowledge tour guides.  The group of people we were with were a lot of fun.  I'm very happy I went.

Southern Caribbean - Jan 27 Cruise Excursions

I had a great time on the cruise. Only complaints are that dinner was later than I would like, and I did not get shuffled around as much as I would have liked. There was also some miscommunication on some of the excursions with regards to logistics.

Met lots of new people, and had a lot of fun! Ship was a little small, but the service was great and activities with the group were so good that it was hard to get enough sleep. Would definitely recommend!

I had a great time, the house was very neat and organized.  I had problem with the person I shared bed I ended up sleeping in the sofa, it was no fault of the organizer.  Definitely will do it again.

Zion Weekend Getaway - Oct 5-8, 2023

Zion Excursion Oct 2023 Getaway

This was a fantastic trip with plenty of time to do your own thing or go in groups to various sites and tours. Cheri did so good at accommodating many different people and personalities . She pivoted every time something arose and found another activity! Love traveling with this crew. I’ve gone on three trips already and have two more booked! Highly recommend if you’re into fun and travel! 

10 Day Spain Tour Aug 26-Sept 4, 2023

This trip was amazing! the tour guides were very helpful and interesting.  The meals, hotels and transfers were all taken care of very well. I especially loved the tour of the Olive plantation on Mallorca. I even brought some of the Aubocassa Olive oil home for my family. .  It was one of my favorite things. Park Guell was incredible even with it raining a bit.  
The rainstorms caused a few hiccups, but Cheri handled them all.  Thanks so much to Cheri's Travel Spot for helping me travel the world!  

Great trip. Very hot, but beautiful place with great food. 

Greece Pre & Post cruise options

Great trip that was well-planned and executed. Tom was a gracious host and was always looking out for the needs of the guests.  It was obvious that he was making sure that even then more shy guests were included and had their needs met. We ran into him and another group on a hike down to a beach. The hike wasn't all that easy but there was an elderly woman in our group that wanted to do it. Tom spent the entire time helping her down the trail and then back up. This was fairly typical of what I saw from Tom as a host.

I'm close with Tom's girlfriend and we had our own group. For the first five days or so we only saw Tom at the group activities. Tom didn't use his status as host to manipulate the situation to hang with Heather. As things wound down we got to see more of him and that was great! 

I enjoyed the blend of activities and free time. I felt we got to do all the things we wanted while still feeling part of the group. The food at the dance was delicious. 

I would definitely go on another similar trip.

Big Island Hawaii Excursions

Fantastic from start to finish!  I was reluctant to travel far away and walk in to a group of people I’ve never met before but I am sooo thankful I did.  I’ve always wanted to be the change I wish to see in the world but honestly believe these trips are instead the change I needed to see in mine.  Tom is awesome and everyone was so kind and welcoming.  In a very short time I fell in love with Hawaii…the people, places, experiences and culture.  I loved it all and look forward to booking another trip very soon.  Thank you for all of the work you put in for all of us to be able to connect and make new friends while getting away from our day to day lives in order to unplug and recharge and see the world.  I travel not to escape life but rather for life not to escape me.  Can’t wait to see y’all again soon.  ❤️

Chicago Getaway June 25-28, 2023

Cheri had everything planned, down to the transport from the airline.  It was so worry free that I sort of forgot to be nervous because I was halfway across the world.  Africa was fabulous!  We had so many adventures with our tour drivers from Leopard Tours Tanzania!!  They were the best.  The hotels we stayed at for each of the National Parks/Preserves were all Serena Hotels.  Each one got better as we went along.  The people were welcoming and we got to learn about the Maasai tribe and visit a village to learn about their lives.  It was my favorite experience. 
Definitely travel with Cheri's Travel Spot if you want to have a worry-free trip.

Yellowstone Weekened Getaway

My first trip with Cheri’s travel group and definitely not my last! It was so nice and easy to get up and just show up every day. Cheri and Tom go above and beyond and make sure everything is tiptop service. Such a delight to hang with these people. The views were incredible, the laughs were much needed and the locations were enchanting!! Already ready to be in Spain now! 

10 Day Ireland Tour April 2-11, 2023

Just a few weeks prior to leaving on this luxury expedition to Ireland, I had completed the National Geographic round the world private jet tour. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much because I had enjoyed the royal treatment for 25 days circling the globe and visiting 11 amazing sites with expert tour guides. I was amazed!

Cheri's tour offered the same high quality accommodations, food, and guides as I had received from the very best in the world. I also really enjoyed the fact that my fellow travelers and I had our religion in common. On so many levels that is a delightful connection.

I would unconditionally recommend this particular tour that I just completed. You won't be disappointed. Steve

OH MY GOSH! This trip was beyond description. It was a trip of a life time. I am still in awe over the whole trip. It blew my expectations away!!! I wish more people were able to be apart of this experience.  Literally! It was so amazing! Those who weren't able to go missed out. 

This was one of the best experiences of my life with amazing people to travel with in Ireland. Our guide was the best, the hotels were all great as well as the food. Each day was planned out perfectly. I’m looking forward to the next adventure!

We had so much fun on the cruise! The ship was beautiful and had many fun activities to do. Cheri and Tom were on the Val helping all of us out.

This was my 1st cruise and I was so happy I signed up for another in 2025.  I loved Royal Carribean themed dinner nights.  There were tons of options for breakfast and lunch.  I loved using the app for dress up nights.  It was a shame we couldn't dock in Costa Maya but Cheri has arranged for a refund.  I am a Marriott employee so I made my own hotel arrangements.  Cheri said I would save money doing lyft for transportation.  I loved pre-interaction with Facebook group.  

As I appreciate the reservations, the hotel to port transport provided terrible service. They were over an hour late picking us up at the hotel!! Very disappointing service. The driver was nice and loaded all of our luggage, but was unaware that he still had one more pickup at another hotel to do. Communication must not be very good within this company. For the price we each paid $31.82, the service should have been much better. We could have UBERed to the port for a fraction of that cost.  I would not recommend this service to anyone.

The excursion that I will review is the Jeep & Cenote trip in Cozumel.  I was one of the Jeep drivers for the passengers, and was pleased that our Jeep worked well and was air conditioned.  We did some very rough off-roading to reach our destination of the El Cedral cenote that was contaminated with bat guano, so most of us chose not to swim there. Back on the road again, we headed to some shopping and then the beach at Sky Reef. I thought our lunch provided was good, but we didn't realize that they would charge us $35 US dollars for the chips and salsa, which pacified us during the long wait. While here, some of us enjoyed snorkeling and were glad that this was included!

The shuttle we traveled in was comfortable and the driver drove safely, however, our driver picked us up from the La Quinta Inn one hour late.  He didn't even have us on the schedule to pick up at the La Quinta Inn, according to the other passengers on the shuttle.  He was not planning on stopping to pick the five of us up at the La Quinta Inn until he was informed to by the other passengers.

I had a blast!  Cheri worked overtime when one port of call was cancelled due to weather!  She was able to set up a new excursion at the next port!

All of the people in the group were great!  I am elated I decided to go!

The ziplining excursion in Roatan was amazing. I had so much fun on that one. Everything was great. The food was an additional cost that I wasn't prepared for, and I think that we were all overcharged for the food, but it was still a great day. I also think that the fee to get into the beach club of $15 should have been included. Overall though this was my favorite excursion. The Cozumel excursion was not what I was expecting. I think that it was fun, but if you do this one again, I think the Cenote part should be left out. That was pretty disappointing. I would rather of had more time to snorkel then to go see that. The jeep ride was fun, but again, I would have loved more time to snorkel. I also think that there had to have been a better place to snorkel. It was okay, but I'm sure there are places in Cozumel with more to see in the water then what we saw at that place. 

The driver was almost an hour late. Wasn't super apologetic about it either. Said he got stuck in traffic, but there is no way that he would have been that late due to traffic. There was traffic on the way to the port but it wasn't that bad. Also he didn't realize he had to make a stop at the La Quinta Inn until I told him. He would have skipped them if I wouldn't have said something. He seemed very disorganized. Once we got to the port he made a wrong turn and it almost seemed like he had never been there before.  

Had a wonderful time on this mini adventure! Perfect size group(16), with a good variety of activities. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. Ready for the next mini adventure!

Savannah Getaway Feb 5-8, 2023

I had an amazing time. It was really cool to see almost all the sights of The City of Savannah GA. We had great food and the abominations where comfortable! Especially the pillows. 

So much fun! It was a great experience I would recommend it to my friends and go again.
