Western Caribbean Cruise Excursions

We had so much fun on the cruise! The ship was beautiful and had many fun activities to do. Cheri and Tom were on the Val helping all of us out.

Loved traveling with Cheri, had a great trip.

This was my 1st cruise and I was so happy I signed up for another in 2025.  I loved Royal Carribean themed dinner nights.  There were tons of options for breakfast and lunch.  I loved using the app for dress up nights.  It was a shame we couldn't dock in Costa Maya but Cheri has arranged for a refund.  I am a Marriott employee so I made my own hotel arrangements.  Cheri said I would save money doing lyft for transportation.  I loved pre-interaction with Facebook group.  

As I appreciate the reservations, the hotel to port transport provided terrible service. They were over an hour late picking us up at the hotel!! Very disappointing service. The driver was nice and loaded all of our luggage, but was unaware that he still had one more pickup at another hotel to do. Communication must not be very good within this company. For the price we each paid $31.82, the service should have been much better. We could have UBERed to the port for a fraction of that cost.  I would not recommend this service to anyone.

The excursion that I will review is the Jeep & Cenote trip in Cozumel.  I was one of the Jeep drivers for the passengers, and was pleased that our Jeep worked well and was air conditioned.  We did some very rough off-roading to reach our destination of the El Cedral cenote that was contaminated with bat guano, so most of us chose not to swim there. Back on the road again, we headed to some shopping and then the beach at Sky Reef. I thought our lunch provided was good, but we didn't realize that they would charge us $35 US dollars for the chips and salsa, which pacified us during the long wait. While here, some of us enjoyed snorkeling and were glad that this was included!

The shuttle we traveled in was comfortable and the driver drove safely, however, our driver picked us up from the La Quinta Inn one hour late.  He didn't even have us on the schedule to pick up at the La Quinta Inn, according to the other passengers on the shuttle.  He was not planning on stopping to pick the five of us up at the La Quinta Inn until he was informed to by the other passengers.

I had a blast!  Cheri worked overtime when one port of call was cancelled due to weather!  She was able to set up a new excursion at the next port!

All of the people in the group were great!  I am elated I decided to go!

The ziplining excursion in Roatan was amazing. I had so much fun on that one. Everything was great. The food was an additional cost that I wasn't prepared for, and I think that we were all overcharged for the food, but it was still a great day. I also think that the fee to get into the beach club of $15 should have been included. Overall though this was my favorite excursion. The Cozumel excursion was not what I was expecting. I think that it was fun, but if you do this one again, I think the Cenote part should be left out. That was pretty disappointing. I would rather of had more time to snorkel then to go see that. The jeep ride was fun, but again, I would have loved more time to snorkel. I also think that there had to have been a better place to snorkel. It was okay, but I'm sure there are places in Cozumel with more to see in the water then what we saw at that place. 

The driver was almost an hour late. Wasn't super apologetic about it either. Said he got stuck in traffic, but there is no way that he would have been that late due to traffic. There was traffic on the way to the port but it wasn't that bad. Also he didn't realize he had to make a stop at the La Quinta Inn until I told him. He would have skipped them if I wouldn't have said something. He seemed very disorganized. Once we got to the port he made a wrong turn and it almost seemed like he had never been there before.  

Had a wonderful time on this mini adventure! Perfect size group(16), with a good variety of activities. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. Ready for the next mini adventure!

Savannah Getaway Feb 5-8, 2023

I had an amazing time. It was really cool to see almost all the sights of The City of Savannah GA. We had great food and the abominations where comfortable! Especially the pillows. 

So much fun! It was a great experience I would recommend it to my friends and go again.

Best trip ever!  Cheri and Tom are attentive to every detail before, during, and after each trip, making sure that their clients have the best food, in the best places, with the best people!  I hate to use the word 'clients,' because we really just become FAMILY!

Colombia Thanksgiving 2022 Getaway

A great time exploring a new city and meeting new people. The activities planned were incredible and plenty of "free time" to explore the city on our own. Chef Paige made terrific meals and was always so fun to be around. The hotel and staff were very helpful and kind and patient with us all. Once again, Tom and Cheri did a fantastic job with our trip!  Thanks!!

CA Halloween Adventure Weekend

Cheri and Tom are perfect for this business!!! They have all the details worked out and if changes happen, out of their control, they are quick to shift with the changes and keep your experience purposeful, intentional and exciting!!! Cheri and Tom work together beautifully and are professional and super approachable! Everyone that came bonded and laughed and it was what all of us needed!!! It is far more then what you pay for!!! I will be on several more trip with Cheri’s travel spot!!!

New England Fall Tour Oct 2022

For my first trip with Cheri, this was a great experience! I just wished I could have been more prepared for the walking! Hahaha! But that’s on me. :) Everything that Cheri and Tom prepared for was perfect! The food was great! I wish I had some canned bread right now! Great accommodations! Wonderful job! I can’t wait for the next adventure! 

This trip was a lot of fun, Thank you Tom and Cheri for putting it all together ❤ 

🤩 wow!!!   Who knew Turkey was such a gold mine of adventure and beautiful scenery.  From start to finish this two week extravaganza was filled with amazing stops, great tour guides and some of the best experiences I’ve ever had while on a CTS trip.  Would definitely recommend Cheris travel spot and her ability to produce and play out vacation bliss.  

Turkey Land & Sea Tour Aug 2022

This was a fast paced weekend filled with events and activities by third parties.  Cheri and Tom made it easy to keep up and be on time with new friends who stayed with the group.  Always a pleasure for sure.

This was a fantastic trip! Cheri and Tom are awesome and they filled each day with back to back adventure! They took care of all travel during the trip and everything was smooth and enjoyable! Best vacation ever!

The Inca Trail was great, so much to see and explore! Rainbow Mountain and Humantay Lake were superb additions to the trip. Accommodations were nice, the people were wonderful, and the the experience was unforgettable!

Another awesome trip by Cheri's Travel Spot! I'm sure glad she knows how to read the group and accommodate the overall skills and capabilities! It was a fitting trip for everyone. 

it was very well planned and i had a great time, thank you!  only one minor suggestion - it appears that the restaurants were not aware that some of us do not take coffee or tea, and the dessert they had prepared for us was tiramisu, made with coffee powder.  it was a slight disappointment that we might still be able to enjoy this dish, if the restaurants were told ahead and could prepare the dessert with chocolate or other suitable substitute. 

it is a personal choice to obey the words of wisdom, but i would expect that since this is an LDS standard trip - and the selling point - that such standards would be communicated with the service providers along the way.

besides that, i really appreciate how packed and intense the trip was, got my money worthwhile for sure! thank you! 

Italy Land Tour May 2022

I've been traveling with Cheri and Tom for over three years now, and each trip gets better and better; I never have to travel alone because of them. Italy has been a thoroughly delightful trip. What a wonderful way to make new friends and memories!

It was such a great experience! Accommodations were super nice and Cheri and Tom were great! Thanks for a great trip experience! 

I had a wonderful time at the beach house!  Tom and Cheri had tons of food, snacks, treats, etc.  They made breakfast for us every morning.  The bathroom near me in the hall backed up, but Tom and Cheri were very quick in reaching out to the host and it was taken care of quickly.  This is the 2nd time I have traveled with Cheri's group and it for sure won't be my last!  They have every detail planned out so it allows me to be able to go and just enjoy!  If you haven't traveled with Cheri, you need to book something now!
