Whale Watching + Fishing in San José del Cabo – 4 hours, $130 USD per person
Two experiences in one private trip. From Puerto Los Cabos Marina, a local captain takes your group, and only your group, out to look for humpback whales and then to fish. The captain splits the 4 hours between whales and fishing depending on the day's conditions and where the whales are.
Whale watching: every winter, humpback whales gather off Los Cabos to breed and raise their calves. Breaches, tail slaps and mothers with calves are all possible. Sightings are very likely in season but never guaranteed.
Fishing: winter inshore fishing near San José del Cabo. Usual catches are sierra, roosterfish and jack crevalle, with snapper and grouper possible. Fishing gear is included. Lines stay out of the water while we are near whales, as Mexican whale-watching rules (NOM-131) require.
Season: mid-December through April, the official Los Cabos whale-watching season. January to March is usually the busiest stretch.
Price: $130 USD per person, minimum 2 people. Choose the package that matches your group size (2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 people). Groups of 7 or more: message us on WhatsApp at +52 624 205 0563.

Added at checkout: Mexican fishing license, $20 USD per person (required by law for everyone 13 and older on a boat carrying fishing tackle). Optional: live bait ($30 USD per boat), beer and sodas.
