Pickup and the ride to the marina was great. Our guide was very knowledgeable, polite, and spoke English very well. The water was pretty choppy and we had a rough ride out to find the whales. We saw a few whales and discussed what they were doing. Then one of us was feeling seasick so we asked to go back to the marina and they quickly took us back. Wish we could have stayed longer and would do this trip again with the hopes of calmer water.

Amazing experience, with quite knowledgeable guides and perfectly organized. We had the chance to see plenty of whales from a short distance, mainly in groups, and we had a great time !

Awesome trip. It starts a little slow with seeing spouts in the distance. Then we had a couple surface near the boat. Oscar then said we need to go out further (6 miles to 8 miles) and find a pod that is fighting. Keeping the faith, we started seeing more spouts and a few surface breaks. Then it happened. we were right behind a pod of 7 or so that were constantly breaking the surface with spouts and flukes a plenty. After about 30 minutes of that it was time to head back. Satisfied with the best whale show we had ever seen. But wait there's more! In the distance, a lone whale breaching. Even better, it kept doing it as we got close enough for great pictures. At one point it even laid on it's back and slapped the water back and forth. Best Whale show ever!

My family has been whale watching with Onca Explorations for many years and each time is an incredible experience! Not only is it phenomenal to see the whales (saw one breach several times this trip!), but Oscar and his team are researchers and extremely knowledgeable. Highly, highly recommend!!

A once in a lifetime trip. The crew was amazing and really helpful. All questions were answered in a manner that made you easily understand it. The boat was in really great conditions and the captain had great abilities.
