Starting in Sligo town, your journey will begin with a drive through Rosses Point with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and onto Drumcliffe, best known as the final resting place of poet W. B. Yeats which is set against the spectacular backdrop of the Benbulben Mountains. Here you will get to visit Yeats grave. You will then travel to Lissadell House where Yeats spent much of his time. Lissadell is famous as the childhood home of Constance Markievicz, a leader of the 1916 Rising and the first woman to be elected to Dail Eireann (Irish Government). As we depart Lissadell Estate your journey will take you through the beautiful countryside with views of Benbulben Mountain and lead us to Glencar Waterfall. The waterfall, descending from a 50ft rocky headland into a deep pool is best viewed from the lovely wooded walk
We will spend our last day in Dublin.The capital city of Ireland.
Visiting some of the sites and shopping.
Our farewell dinner will be in the city ,ending the evening with some Irish entertaiment.
Accomadation will be provided in Clontarf .Carolines home town and close to the airport.
