About your trip

Join Stephanie on an adventure to a magical and remote land on the Troll Peninsula in Northern Iceland!  Connect to your own wild and sacred nature, while being surrounded and protected by the most majestic mountains and rivers and waterfalls!  Explore the practices of Yoga, meditation, sound, journaling, nourishment, self care, hot springs, soak and sauna, northern lights, ritual and connection.  Included in your stay, is our very own spa house to enjoy whenever we please, with a hot tub, giant sauna, and cold plunge.  We will also be heading out together to Myvatn Nature Baths, which is Northern Icelands "blue lagoon."

This retreat is FOR you, if you're excited to explore Iceland, while also staying in a remote place, with ample time to ground into nature and yourself, with lots of moments of quiet and also opportunities to connect with other beautiful people.  The average temperature for Iceland in September is around 50°F, which is perfect for hiking and exploring, while also enjoying nourishing foods, hot springs, and soak and sauna.  September is also a peak time for Northern Lights!  There will usually be a more active yoga practice in the morning, and a more slow and restorative practice in the evening.  There will be opportunities to go on excursions, or you can stay most of your time on site, enjoying the land, waterfalls and slowing way down.

This retreat is NOT for you, if you want a jam packed schedule. (We will have plenty of open space for rest)  It is NOT for you, if you want a super easy and frequent way into town, or want more of a city experience. (We will be in a special, remote place in nature)  It is also NOT for you, if you're craving warm and tropical retreat vibes! (This is more fall, cozy, magical nature vibes!) :)

A note from Stephanie:

Iceland and this magical spot is so deeply special to me, and I am so excited to be able to share it with another lovely group.  The Lodge is an ancient sheep farm that's been continually inhabited from the time of the settlement of the Vikings in Iceland in circa 850AD. It has been in the same family for centuries and is family operated. This will be a peak time for Northern Lights, so get ready to experience some magic while we are there!  Also, Júlí (our amazing chef, and one of Iceland's best) is such a joy and will give us the culinary experience of a lifetime.  It's such a privilege to be able to be nourished by him while we are there.

Deposit and Registration Details:

A $500 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO SECURE YOUR SPOT.

Submitting your deposit does not automatically enroll you into the retreat.  In order to create a special retreat container for all involved, we reserve the right to curate the retreat guest list.  A retreat experience can be a very intimate and powerfully transformative experience, so it is important that we create a synergistic group dynamic.  Thank you for understanding. :)

After submitting your deposit and retreat booking form, Stephanie will be in touch to officially confirm your reservation.  If this year is not a fit, your reservation will be canceled and the $500 deposit refunded in full.  Once your registration is officially confirmed by Stephanie, then you will be all set to start planning your trip!

For this retreat to happen, we need to have a min of 10 attendees.  If we don't reach our minimum number of guests, you will be fully refunded.  Once we officially have met our minimum number, Stephanie will send out an email to confirm, and at that point you can move forward with purchasing flights, etc. (Likely starting in May)

Extra Notes:

*You need a valid Passport (that does not expire within 6 months) to enter Iceland.

*Travel Insurance is highly recommended to keep yourself safe and covered.

*A suggested packing list and sample schedule will be sent out closer to our trip.

*This is an active retreat, and the terrain in Iceland is often wet, and rocky.  Must be ok with some wetness, and wind...but so much beauty!!

*Depending on flight schedules, guests might want to fly into Reykjavik to stay for a night (or more), before taking the local flight to Akureyri, and possibly on the way home too.  There are many options though, if you want to rent a car and explore before or after as well!

*Iceland is so beautiful and safe and lovely, and I hope you can join in the adventure. :)
