In this one-night/two day experience you can expect outdoor skill sharing, communion with nature, meditation and delicious food and time to play. Our journey will be through the incredible Garner State Park, known for its crystal clear blue water!
Whether you are an experienced outdoors person or just new to the outdoors, we welcome you in on this special gathering. (Note: You can bring your own gear or rent from us.)

We kindly ask that you do your very best to be on time as to respect everyone's experience! If you know you will be coming late, please message us directly!
Once we are two weeks out from our trip, we will contact everyone to see how we can best accommodate carpooling from respective guest locations.

This experience is for any level of camping or outdoor experience. Our mission is to give you the tools so you can be more comfortable in these experiences on your own. If you don't have the gear, you can add that on as an option to rent from The Rooted Method.
Packing List:
* Tent, Sleeping Bag and Pad ( If you don't have these, you can rent from us!)
* Cup or Mug for Drinks
* Bowl and Utensil for cooking ( We provide other cooking materials!)
* Water Bottle or Canister
* bandana/cloth for napkin
* Sunscreen
* Hat
* Something to get wet in (If you choose to get in the water)
* Shorts
* T-Shirt
* Warmer layer for cooler morning/evening
* Rain Jacket
* Something to swim in
* Closed Toed Shoes
* A pair of camp shoes
* We won't be bringing any plastic water bottles or utensils so please make sure to remember your refillable water bottle, utensils and bandana/cloth for napkin! There will be spigots there to refill!
Regular spot tickets close on April 8th! Once we receive your deposit, you will be privately messaged on setting up your second and last payment. Please message us privately if you have any questions!
Note: If you don't have a sleeping pad or tent you are welcome to rent from us! You will see that as an add-on option below.
Sitting with Strangers in Nature will Heal The World.
11:30 am: Guests will arrive in designated carpool groups.
11:30-1:00 pm: Enjoy Packit Gourmet’s finest bites, while getting to know each other. We’ll also be setting up our tents for the evening.
1:00-1:30: Outdoor Safety Class & Leave No Trace Principles
1:45-3:45: Mountain Meditation Movement. Guests will partake in a 3-mile journey to the highest point in the park, where we’ll be led through a guided meditation.
4:15-6:45: Late afternoon hang in the crystal-clear Frio River. Guests can bring a book, a journal, foam roller, a ball or frisbee and enjoy connecting with nature. We’ll present some earthing and grounding exercises.
7:00-9:00: Firestarter Demonstration and Dinner
9:30: Moonwalking. Guests will have the option to enjoy a calming night walk along the river.
