Do I need to have a knowledge base of Human Design, Elements, Yoga or Women's cycles?

No, we are here to guide, support and educate you on all of these topics and more throughout our time together. 

What if I miss or am unable to attend a LIVE training session?

No worries we got you covered. We will record each session and share a link with you to review it at your convenience. The main content will be here for you, however It is highly advised to attend LIVE when possible as group interactions cannot be replicated in the recordings.

What are the accommodation options? Imiloa is situated in the Jungle overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Dominical Costa Rica. When booking you may choose between handcrafted Bali homes & suites, open air Jungle Bungalows and Geodesic River Domes. Scroll down to view images of each of the room styles to select the one that resonates with your soul.

What is the food like?  Exquisite! You will feast on 3 gourmet plant-based meals per day and all snacks are included as well. For those who cannot do without a caffeine rush, there is an espresso and coffee machine along with availability of fruit smoothies.

What if I have food allergies?  Just inform us through the intake form upon registering and we will notify the chef to make plans to accommodate any allergies you may have.

Why is this venue special when compared to other retreats?  Imiloa is indeed, a special place. The work we have to do is special work. You are on a special journey. We chose Imiloa because in their words, it's a place where, "the magic of exploration meets the heart of transformation as you reconnect with nature and yourself. When you arrive at Imiloa, you quickly recognize that it's not just a place, It's the feeling of community, support, nourishment and love and it lives within all of us who have been touched by it."

Is there wheelchair access?  Unfortunately, there is no wheelchair access or transportation within the property due to the fact that it is in the mountains, so if you have any mobility issues, this may not be for you. 

Do I have to pay it all at once?  No you do not. Your payments can be paid in full or split into 2 installments. Reach out to info@soulsynarchy.com if you need other options. 

Why do we need to arrive a day early & stay overnight in San Jose? Our retreat experience begins together on March 29th where we all travel together in a private plane to our Imiloa oasis. The plane leaves early in the morning, so arrival in San Jose the day before will ensure that everyone leaves together and we can maximize our time on retreat. You will have already met other participants online, so it will be exciting to start connecting on Friday evening!

This is non-refundable wraparound experience. Upon booking, all deposits and payments are non-refundable. All payments must be completed by March 29, 2025. Travel insurance is highly recommended so that you are covered should anything happen. Imiloa has a partnership with http://www.globalrescue.com/imiloa for  global rescue and travel insurance. You can also get quotes from numerous companies online. 

Dr Johanneke Kodde is a 2/5 Emotional Projector in Human Design and a bit of a medical wild card. Her approach to health is holistic and integrative, encompassing body, mind and soul.`

Always interested in the mind-body connection and people's personal stories, she trained and has worked as a General Practitioner (Family Doctor) in the UK for about 18 years. She has also educated, coached and still mentors other doctors.

During her mid-late 40s, triggered by perimenopause, the pandemic, an unwell teenage daughter and a burnout, she rediscovered her passion for spirituality and went on a journey of personal transformation, facilitated by Human Design, astrology, Gene Keys, cycle awareness, writing, shamanism, embodiment, ceremony and several life changing retreats. From this she founded her business Body Mind Soul Doctor.

She offers holistic health consultations, Human Design and Akashic Records Readings and a transformational programme, in person and online. She is also an engaging speaker, hosts workshops, circles and retreats and has published chapters in two compilation books.

After leaving a successful career in education where she spent over two decades teaching and leading school change, she pivoted to entrepreneurship as a Human Design Mentor & Alignment coach. Her MATL and education background complements her Human Design certification--all of which help her support midlife mamas to shed others' expectations and belief systems through a mix of practical application and intuitive guidance so that they can learn to follow their inner compass and be who they came here to be. 

Since 2020, Lori has shared her love of Human Design with hundreds of humans, and has found that working with women in the midlife phase inspires her most. An incredibly transformative part of life, midlife is one that demands change and is a beautiful time to return to our true selves. 

Weaving in her intuitive strengths with Human Design and a dash of Astrology, she empowers women as an Alignment coach and retreat host to make midlife the best time of their lives.

Maggie Thomas is a 4/6 Emotional Manifesting Generator. She is a dedicated professional with a rich background in healthcare, holistic wellness, and education. She holds a degree in Kinesiology and is a Certified Orthotist, with extensive experience in fascia therapy and functional movement patterns.

From 2017 to 2022, Maggie founded, owned, and operated an accredited school of yoga, where she served as a leading yoga teacher and training facilitator. Her passion for yoga and facilitation led her to support countless individuals along their transformative journeys.

From 2021 to 2024, Maggie continued her impact in healthcare by founding and operating an orthopeadic clinic, specializing in quality personalized care, medical compression wear and custom external orthotic devices.

Inspired by a commitment to holistic approaches, Maggie is in the process of exiting the medical industry to follow her passions while attuning to her intuition. She now empowers women as a human design specialist, yoga facilitator and retreat host, leveraging her expertise to facilitate self-discovery, personal growth, and true transformation.

Perched on the edge of the cliff, at the furthest end of the property, sits a 170 year old home from the Java Islands named Jogolo. It was shipped from Bali and reconstructed on site. Complete with a writer’s desk, outdoor Balinese shower, and unique hand-carved architecture, Jogolo is teeming with history, soul and comfort. Jogolo is a Unique and Exclusive Home with spectacular views of the mountains and ocean.

The absence of a/c, is balanced with fans and windows to view the mountain and ocean breeze. It is also one of the only ones that has a kitchen as well. For soaking up the sun and taking a refreshing dip, Jogolo offers a private cold plunge pool. 

This idyllic two-floor imported 180 year old home with a wrap around deck from Bali will have you wishing you’d never leave. Potoo combines open-air jungle luxury with unparalleled views of the Pacific ocean. On the lower level you will find a plunge pool and private area perfect for spa treatments. There is one King bed that cannot be split into twins.  This room is ideal for 2 besties comfortable sharing a king size bed. 

This venue is supported with fans and an open-air construction that allows for a refreshing ocean and mountain breeze to flow through the rooms. An outdoor shower and a fully equipped kitchen ensure that you can seamlessly immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the jungle while still enjoying all the comforts of modern living. 

Potoo has two levels, giving you ample space to relax. On the lower level, you have a private cold plunge pool and a spa area where you can be treated to a private, pampering session. This home is very private and the only two story home on the property.

The 3 Bali Suites are elegantly situated at the top of the mountain in the 200 year old Bali Village. All three suites are just a few steps away from the shared infinity plunge pool, creating a haven for those seeking a harmonious blend of luxury and relaxation overlooking the ocean and the jungle.

The Bali Suites all have A/C. You have the closest access to the main pool on the property. They are cozy and have great views of the ocean and the jungle. These are ideal for solo traveler's or friends to deepen bonds and make new memories. 

The suites are outfitted with 2 twin beds. 

The Exclusive Master Suite is for the traveler that desires a solo king size bed and ultimate privacy.  

Drawing inspiration from the intricate patterns of sacred geometry, our collection of 5 Geodesic River Domes are perfectly located on the banks of our secluded private river in the heart of the rainforest. This is paradise where you wake up to the soothing sounds of the water, accompanied by the calls of the jungle. 

Each spacious dome is fitted with 2 king beds. They are ideal for friends or family who want to share a room that offers more space. If you are single and are happy to share with a roommate, a Dome is the perfect choice.  We can also pair you with a guest based on your human design charts.

These luxurious curved structures immerse you in the Costa Rican experience with luscious greenery all around, and 180-degree jungle views. The full bathrooms are just outside the room, under a short covered walkway, where you will have the amazing experience of an open-air shower in the rainforest. Then, relax on the outdoor deck, and soak up the ambiance in a unique structure created to harmonize with nature’s beauty.

Perfect for the solo travel, couples or close friends.  We offer 6 rustic Jungle Bungalows, or Jungalows! for those who want to be close to the Heart of Imiloa and the House of Masters. Each private Jungalow is inspired by the ancient traditions of Bali and features a beautiful interior with fine handcrafted details.

Enjoy the stunning mountain views from your secluded wooden jungle deck, and then step out onto the pathway which leads you on a short walk to our own private cascading waterfall. 

Jungalows can be fitted with one king bed or two twin beds. They do not have air conditioning but the open-air construction allows for a natural breeze that will keep you cool and refreshed. And, for an unforgettable treat, you have a spacious bathroom with a luxurious soaking tub where you can linger for hours while gazing at a picture-perfect scene of towering green trees.  

The Sky Forest House is an incredible home that offers panoramic mountain, jungle, and ocean view suites.
