Escape for a 3 day/2 night autumn yoga retreat at the Mohican Outdoor Center of the Appalachian Mountain Club. Here you will enjoy the quiet wilderness of beautiful Delaware Water Gap Region in North Jersey. This active retreat is full of adventure, especially for those who enjoy the outdoors. We will practice yoga and meditation at the Mohican's Boathouse overlooking Catfish Lake. Yoga and meditation is all levels, geared towards self-reflection, letting go, and restoring!
Saturday we will start our adventure with a 5 mile hike up to Catfish Fire Tower. The summit offers a 365 degree view of NJ and PA. Following our hike, enjoy Catfish Pond by kayak or resting on the beach. Finish the day with an evening yoga practice. Day two will start with an energizing morning yoga practice and intention setting meditation, preparing to embark on an 8 mile hike. Our hike along Buttermilk Falls trail will offer site of New Jersey's tallest waterfall along side of the magical autumn foliage along portions of the Appalachian Trail. To end the day, relax by the fire or enjoy some time to yourself. The third and final day begin with sunrise meditation, yoga and a parting group activity. Participants encouraged to stay, play, and explore on your own at the Mohican. Or participants may depart after the group activities.
Throughout our stay we will nourish our bodies with clean, healthy nutritious food, accommodating to all dietary restrictions. Along with you food provided, you are encouraged to bring your own healthy snacks.

Cancellations can be honored up to 30 days prior to the trip minus a $160 non-refundable fee.
Meals:
Included are dinner 10/6, all meals 10/7, and breakfast 10/8.
Attendees will need to provide themselves a pack-able lunch for arrival day to consume on our hike.
Please advise when booking if there are specific dietary restrictions you need honored.
Prior Experience:
This is an active retreat! Prior hiking and kayaking experience recommended. We will be hiking both an 8 and 5 mile trail. Please pack appropriate footwear and attire to allow for the best experience. Yoga classes will be all-levels.
Important Times:
Our start time is 10:00 am at The Mohican Outdoor Center, and attendees are expected to arrive on time so that we may start our excursion all together.
Check out is 11:00am on Monday 10/08/18 (This is Columbus Day). At this time you must have all belongings out of the cabin but you are more than welcome to stay and enjoy the amenities at camp for the rest of the day.
We will guide you through 4 all-levels yoga classes and meditations. Day 1 will include an evening yoga to conclude the day. Day 2 will consist of early morning yoga and meditation to get our day started and a yoga nidra to relax and unwind at the end of our most active day. The final morning yoga on our departure day will invite us to leave with our peaceful mindsets.
