Wildflower is a heart‑centered spring retreat designed to help women gently grow, awaken, and bloom into their next season of life with clarity, courage, and grace.
Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, this retreat invites you to reconnect with nature’s rhythm, release what no longer serves, and rise into your fullest expression.
As spring unfolds around us, we’ll spend time outdoors and immerse ourselves in holistic wellness experiences that support deep nourishment and renewal.
Throughout the retreat, you’ll be guided through yoga, reiki, forest bathing, watsu water therapy, hiking, and other nature‑based practices that encourage grounding, expansion, and inner blossoming.
Inspired by the resilience and beauty of wildflowers, we welcome you to soften, open, and grow in harmony with the season—rooting deeply, expanding gently, and blooming in your own unique way.
This is your invitation to rise like a wildflower—untamed, vibrant, and fully alive.
PLEASE NOTE: There are organized activities as well as spacious free time. You are under no obligation to attend everything. Please honor what feels most nourishing and supportive for you in any given moment. No fancy yoga clothes needed—come exactly as you are. We look forward to connecting with you.
Willow Ridge Lodging rests gently in the foothills of Swannanoa, North Carolina, surrounded by the rolling Blue Ridge Mountains and the wild beauty that blooms between Asheville and Black Mountain. Forested mountains surround a historic mill town and quiet neighborhoods edge the valley.
The two‑story main house offers over 4,000 square feet of warm, welcoming space—eight airy bedrooms, eight bathrooms, wrap‑around porches for sunrise and starlight, an indoor fireplace, climate‑controlled comfort, spacious gathering areas, and a washer and dryer for ease throughout your stay.
Across the property, you’ll find a charming carriage house, a separate indoor event space for our group sessions, a gazebo overlooking a quiet pond, ample parking, a private backyard, and a cozy fire pit perfect for evening reflection.
Just 14 miles from Downtown Asheville, Willow Ridge offers the perfect blend of peaceful seclusion and easy access—an ideal setting to root in, unwind, and bloom like a wildflower.

✨CO-HOST: DR. TENELLE WILSON, AP, DOM
Website: Wellness - Anuyu 5 Element Acupuncture - Holistic Health Clinic
Dr. Tenelle Wilson is a licensed Florida Acupuncture Physician and NCCAOM board-certified practitioner specializing in Classical Five Element Acupuncture. Her work weaves together Chinese medicine, seasonal wisdom, and the understanding that true healing begins when we reconnect with our authentic nature.
Through gentle inquiry, acupuncture, and embodied practices, Dr. Tenelle creates space for people to move beyond simply managing symptoms and into deeper alignment with themselves. Her approach honors the connection between the physical body, emotional life, and spirit, inviting lasting transformation from the inside out.
🌟RETREAT FACILITATOR: HEATHER RUSH
Owner of Sacred Spaces, offering End-of-Life Doula services and Kundalini Yoga classes both online and in person
Heather's work is rooted in a deep respect for the human experience and a passion for helping people reconnect with themselves through embodied practice, sound, self-inquiry, and spiritual exploration.
With over 22 years of bodywork experience, training in massage therapy, Level 3 Reiki training, and certification as a Sound Practitioner, Heather brings an integrated understanding of the body, mind, and spirit to everything she offers. Her background informs a thoughtful, experiential approach to Kundalini Yoga, weaving an understanding of the body's physical responses, breath, nervous system, and energetic dimensions into each class. Her intention is to help students understand not only what they are practicing, but how the practice may influence their experience on multiple levels.
Kundalini Yoga is a practice that combines movement, breathwork, meditation, mantra, and focused attention to cultivate greater awareness of the relationship between the body, mind, and spirit.
With 22 years of bodywork experience and 12 years of teaching experience, Heather brings a unique perspective to her teaching, helping students understand the practical and physiological dimensions of the practice alongside it'sl energetic and spiritual teachings.
Through specific movements, breathing techniques, and meditation, students have the opportunity to explore how breath influences their internal state, how tension and habitual patterns may show up in the body, and how focused attention can support greater self-awareness. The practice can offer tools for navigating stress, cultivating mental clarity, and developing a more conscious relationship with one's physical and emotional experience.
Heather's classes go beyond simply guiding students through a sequence. She incorporates education about the body and the experience of practice, empowering students to develop a deeper understanding of what they are doing and why.
Some classes also incorporate sound healing with crystal singing bowls and the gong, bringing together movement, meditation, vibration, and stillness in a more immersive experience.
No previous yoga or meditation experience is necessary. Each class is an invitation to meet yourself where you are, explore your experience with curiosity, and develop tools that can support you both on and off the mat.
You’re seeking meaningful connection with nature, healing practices, and embodied movement. You desire a supportive, heart‑centered community. You value non‑toxic, organic, and intentional living. You’re craving a safe, soulful space to explore, unwind, and reconnect with yourself. You’re willing to gently step outside your comfort zone in service of growth and transformation.
You’re uncomfortable being in group settings. You’re not interested in learning, self‑growth, or inner exploration. You prefer not to be immersed in nature. You dislike both movement and stillness practices. You’re unable to be flexible with schedules or unexpected shifts that may arise. You don’t enjoy laughter, playfulness, or shared joy.
*Please be mindful of your phone use. If you need to take a loud call or video chat, kindly step away from the group space.

To maintain a safe, respectful, and intentional wellness environment for everyone, we ask that all participants refrain from consuming alcohol before or during group activities, gatherings, and private sessions. Please arrive at all scheduled experiences alcohol-free and fully present.
*We are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for everyone. Please honor the privacy, comfort, and emotional well‑being of all participants.
*If any behavior threatens the safety, emotional security, or harmony of the group, the
