We will spend 6 nights at Galdessa Camp with the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, surrounded by the beauty and vastness of Kenya, with the possibility of adding another destination to the journey.

There will be safari, spaciousness, connection, reflection, beautiful food, and plenty of room to simply be. This is a retreat for the woman who is ready to listen inward, remember what matters, and begin creating from there.

Their tireless dedication to rescuing, rehabilitating, and reintegrating elephants, preserving wild spaces, and nurturing the next generation of conservationists is awe-inspiring. So much so, that I have committed to dedicating one journey each year to supporting this life-changing organization.

A Singular, Unforgettable Experience

As part of this exclusive retreat, you will have the rare opportunity to adopt an elephant from the Sheldrick Voi Reintegration Unit. Before your arrival, you will receive a personalized adoption certificate for your elephant of choice, along with behind-the-scenes access to the Keepers’ Diaries, intimate videos, and monthly updates about your elephant and the sanctuary’s ongoing work.

Each day in Tsavo Park is curated to awaken your senses and reconnect you with nature. Mornings may include exhilarating game drives, bush breakfasts, or intimate encounters at the Elephant Reintegration Unit. Afternoons offer leisurely respite at the lodge — swim in the infinity pool, enjoy a rejuvenating massage, or connect in meaningful conversation with fellow travelers. Restorative yoga sessions provide a mindful pause, grounding you in the rhythm of the wilderness.

**double occupancy price is contingent on two people sharing a room. If the room does not fill, occupant agrees to pay the difference.

All retreats are non-refundable once purchased.

For all retreats, if force majeure (e.g. pandemic, natural disasters, travel restrictions, etc.) causes a retreat to be canceled, we will offer a rescheduled date for the retreat. In this case, we will not refund payments when it is due to causes beyond our control. If the rescheduled retreat date does not work for you, full or partial credit (not a refund) towards another one of our retreats at any destination may be possible.  

If you need to cancel, refunds are not offered unless you find someone to take your spot or we fill the spot. 

A minimum $1000 processing fee will be assessed for all cancellations if we have to find you a replacement.

We cannot reimburse any travel costs associated with your stay. For this, we recommend travel insurance.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

There are no refunds or discounts given for arriving late or early departure or for guests who choose not to partake in meals or events. Dana Damara Evolution is not responsible for any travel expenses related to attending one of our retreats.

Please consider travel insurance to protect the investment in your vacation plans. Travel (or trip) insurance is available from several companies. We recommend that you carefully review their policies as many provide different levels of protection.
