Welcome to your perfect break in the Pacific Northwest, where giant trees frame snowy volcanoes and plump rivers rush to the ocean. Spend a full day exploring the vineyards and waterfalls along the Columbia River Gorge with an expert guide and driver. Forge new connections while exploring Oregon’s history and the great outdoors.
Your day begins when our private driver picks you up in downtown Portland. Hop in and we are off to the Columbia River Gorge. Our first stop is Waterfall Alley and a short walk (.5 mi) to the base of Latourell Falls.
Next up is iconic Bridal Veil Falls where we will pause for a short walk to the viewing platform. Feel the mist coming off this powerful waterfall and take in the sylvan landscape common in this part of the state.
En route to the Hood River area, our group will stop in for a quick look at Starvation Creek Falls and admire the drama of this mossy cascade.
At this point in our journey, you will have worked up an appetite for lunch. It’s time to trade waterfalls for wine and head over to our first winery where we will imbibe local reds and whites while enjoying a catered lunch.
Fortified, we are off to another round of tasting at one more winery. Maybe you will find a new blend to take home with you to pair dinner?
As we make our way back to Portland, we will pull over to see the queen of all the waterfalls and the highest in Oregon: Multnomah Falls. Snowmelt and rainfall fuel this cascade, which drops 620 feet to a frothing pool below, a dramatic end to our day of waterfall visits.
