Kristen was a great leader....very knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way. I did not snorkel as much as I had expected b/c the winds were a minimum of 40 MPH and I found it very rough. Swells were sometimes at 2 ft. I did go out on the boat every day and attended every class. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience on the water and the comraderie with fellow participants. I particularly enjoyed the experience with the dolphins, very highly intelligent...overall, it was a great location and I would recommend...Sandy

So much fun! The snorkeling was amazing, even tho the seas were a bit rough. Great group of women, led by the fearless and fantastic Kristin. We learned about dolphins, got to swim and help train them. We ziplined, enjoyed happy hour, saw the wonderful coral restoration by RIMS...so much more! Anthony's Key treated us so well, too. Great trip.

If you love to scuba dive and snorkel, then this is the trip for you. I completed 7 dives during the week including the Shark Dive. The Shark Dive was an unique incredible experience! A must do. We also encountered Spotted Eagle Rays and giant Sea Turtles at the other incredible dive sites. The trip leader (Kristen) and Divemaster were amazing. Both were very attentive and informed. Snorkeling with Dolphins was so much fun and a trip highlight. The dolphins are curious and swim next to you. The cabins at Anthony's Key Resort are beautiful and food was delicious. This is a trip I will definitely book again.

I can’t say enough good things about this trip! My students and I had an amazing time, and we learned so much. First, kudos to the staff of Green Edventures: Tara, Tracey, Carrie. They were thorough, responsive, patient, and supportive throughout the trip planning process. We felt well prepared for travel and very safe and cared for. They were also open to helping us customize the trip and make it our own, from altering the itinerary to ramping up the rigor of the academic curriculum. In the end, we curated a program that was academically challenging, with just the right amount of relaxation and fun. Aimee, our Green Edventures trip leader (and original author of the program) was extraordinary. She was involved in much of the trip planning process, designed our curriculum, and was our on-site coordinator and trip leader in Roatan. Her energy and enthusiasm are contagious, her knowledge invaluable. She learned all of my students' names within hours, and quickly made an impression on them that will last a lifetime. She was the beating heart of our week in Roatan. In Roatan, our time at the Roatan Institute for Marine Sciences was remarkable, educational, and galvanizing, primarily due to the expertise of our RIMS educational coordinator, Jennifer. Her passion for marine biology and years of experience on the reefs of Roatan engaged and inspired my students during both class work and field work. The facilities at RIMS are minimal but more than sufficient. Our home for the week, Anthony’s Key Resort, was an idyllic spot. We stayed in the Key Bungalows, and they were comfortable and spotless. The food was delicious, plentiful, and varied, with something for everyone. But above all, the staff at AKR, across the board, is EXCEPTIONAL, some of the best I have ever experienced. Kind, courteous, welcoming, accommodating, they consistently went above and beyond, exceeding my expectations at every turn. I would go back there for a personal vacation (and I just might)! Overall, I highly recommend this program and Green Edventures. It was the trip of a lifetime!

Big thank you to Tara and Ingibörg for creating a wonderful trip. Ingigörd took us to some hidden gems within her country. If your soul needs to be recharged, this itinerary is for you. We started with reflection and clarity at a studio with Reiki Master Svava Brooks. We visited many hot springs and pools during our visit, each with it's own unique vibe. Everyday was an adventure while learning about natural energy flow, synchronizing our breathing for our mindfulness practice. We were lucky enough to enjoy The Northern Lights several times. There was even a sound healing session in a yurt! I experienced a dip in the Artic ocean, which was exhilarating and a session with a floatation therapist in a pool. The best outcome of this trip was meeting like minded people and witnessing everyone's transformation on our final day.

Working with Green Edventures has been an incredible experience. Their Iceland Knitting Tours for women are the perfect blend of culture, creativity, and community. As someone who has seen firsthand how these tours bring women together, it’s clear that the tours are much more than just a knitting experience. They foster deep connections with local artisans, allow participants to engage with Iceland’s beautiful landscapes, and truly embrace the collaborative spirit of knitting. Tara Short and her team make every effort to ensure a sustainable, educational, and enriching journey, leaving every traveler with not only a new skill but also lasting memories. Highly recommended!

I went on an amazing trip with Tara to Baja, Mexico in 2020. This was a dream trip for me being a wildlife lover. It was incredible to be able to swim with whale sharks and sea lions and get up close with gray whales. Camping on the beach was amazing. We had a great group of women and everyone vibed well and all of the tour guides including Tara, Alex and Chabello were so fun, friendly and helpful every step of the way. The food was great at the campsite and at the restaurants we got to try. When our trip plans initially got derailed waiting on a negative Covid test and we had to get a different flight, Tara did everything in her power to accommodate us and make sure we got to enjoy every part of the trip, including setting us up with another whale shark swimming tour after we had missed the initial one with the group, and she spent time waiting for us to finish before leaving for the airport. I definitely recommend Green Edventures, especially the Baja Mexico trip!

I just returned from the Wisconsin Women's Tour and couldn't have asked for a better trip! For me, the amount and type of activity were perfect. Who know there was so much to discover practically in my own backyard?
