The third championship course at the Home of Golf, the Jubilee is considered by many to be the most challenging course on the famous Links. Built in 1897, it was originally intended for use by ladies and beginners; however, after seeing its prime golfing location between the New Course and the sea, the Jubilee was converted to a championship layout in 1988.

Other than Pebble Beach, there are few world-class courses able to offer such an expanse of beach and water frontage as that we have been blessed with at Dumbarnie Links. Of the 34,000 golf courses currently in play around the world, only 246 of them are authentic links courses. Of these, only around 40 are internationally recognized 5 Star links, and yet over thirty of these appear in The World’s Top 100 Golf Courses. The most famous is the Old Course at St Andrews on the shores of Fife, on the east coast of Scotland. Premier links are very rare and have great cachèt.

Today we will ballot for the Old Course.  If unsuccessful, you will play the Castle Course.  

The newest addition to St Andrews Links, The Castle Course opened in 2008 becoming the seventh course at the Home of Golf and part of the largest public golfing complex in Europe. Set on a rugged cliff-top with spectacular views over St Andrews, The Castle Course offers a memorable golfing experience.

Guests will be trasnferred to Liverpool from St Andrews to the Hard Days Night Hotel where you will check in for 4 nights.

Hillside Golf Club is situated in Southport, the home of "Englands Golf Coast" which boasts England's finest stretch of coastal links. Hillside has hosted many amateur and professional tournaments in it's illustrious history and was recently selected by the European Tour to stage the 2019 British Masters. The R&A have been a regular visitor to the Links with The Amateur and Ladies Amateur Championships being staged here as well as Final Qualifying for The Open on numerous occasions.

After golf, a welcome reception will be held in the evening at the Hard Days Night Hotel.

Your next round will be at Royal Birkdale,  10 time host course of the Open Championship,  Most recently the site of the exciting win by Jordan Spieth as he dueled Matt Kuchar on the back 9.

Royal Birkdale has held more Championship and International events since World War 2 than any other course in the world. Open Championships, Ryder Cups, Women's British Opens, Senior Opens, Amateur Championships, Walker Cups and Curtis Cups.

Royal Birkdale Golf Club has been voted the number one golf club in England, one of the top five clubs in the UK and amongst the top 35 in the world. Visitors are assured of a warm welcome on and off the course delivering a golfing experience second to none.

 After golf, guests have evening free in Liverpool.    

Next up for competition round 2 is a round at Royal Lytham & St Anne's.  Host site of the Open Championship 11 times, the course presents a unique challenge with 167 bunkers littered across the course putting a premium on accuracy.

It is one of the premier links courses in the world, host to eleven Open Championships, two Ryder Cups and numerous other major tournaments including the Women's and Seniors Open Championships and the Walker Cup in 2015. Northern hospitality has always been famous and Royal Lytham leads the way. 

 After golf is an open evening in Liverpool.  

Your final round takes places at Royal Liverpool or affectionately known by the locals as Hoylake.  12 times host course for the Open Championship and site of Rory McIroy's win in 2014, and scheduled to return in 2023.
