About your trip

Spend a healing weekend in Sedona with a supportive tribe of women without having to worry about anything or anyone!

Just explore the beautiful vortexes and restore your body, mind and soul!

WHAT TO EXPECT

  1. Community!! Going on a yoga retreat is like entering a new community. Yoga is about connecting, and you’ll be surrounded by like-minded people who are committed to more than a class fit in around their busy work week. It’s a wonderful opportunity to speak and learn with others and be a part of a community as much or as little as you like. Some retreaters choose to attend a yoga retreat solo, but there’s no fear of being lonely. A sense of freedom can come from spending time with people who know nothing about you, and connections can form faster than you think. Make the most of this retreat experience by having no expectations, of yourself or the other attendees. These yoga retreats are seen as a safe place. There will be stories and experiences shared that people may not even choose to share with their closest friends.
  2. Healthy Food Options!! The food on these retreats are as important as the yoga! I take this part VERY seriously. All meals are included, and you can bet on them being healthy, delicious and nurturing. All meals are made with so much love you’ll feel like you're getting a warm hug from every meal. In addition, meal times are another time to enjoy being a part of a community, when we all sit down together and reminisce about the day while looking forward to the next.
  3. A Digital Detox   Retreats present a great opportunity to try a digital detox. I recommend spending your retreat away from social media and the constant connection we usually experience, and focus on connecting with yourself instead. I understand the importance of digital connection this day in age. So I just ask that you try and limit yourself to certain times of day and go somewhere private for your conversations.
  4. Time Away from the Day-to-Day for Deep Relaxation + Reflection When you are doing life it's hard to take any time away for yourself, to either sit and contemplate, reflect or just rest and relax. This immersion retreat is designed for that. I create a space for you to get away from the day-to-day so you can 100% focus on YOURSELF. The workshops and circles we hold offer time for reflection and discussion on deep topics you can't give to yourself while you're at home. We know that you’re looking for a break and a bit of downtime, and we have built that free time into the retreat schedule. You can use this time to do whatever makes you feel more energized, whether it’s jumping in the hot tub, reading a book, taking a walk, writing in a journal, exploring, or restoring with a nap.
  5. A Change in Body, Mind, Spirit!! This yoga retreat is still about yoga and meditation, and the increase in classes will likely lead to faster advances in your practice than when you’re at home. Without the usual distractions of daily life and the extra time to focus, you’ll notice your body getting stronger, your mind getting clearer and soul being fed.
  6. This is YOUR Retreat So do what feels right to you in any moment. If you want to sleep in instead of yoga or stay back and rest instead of hike or read a book instead of wine tasting - that's perfectly fine! This is your time to nurture yourself however is best for you! This itinerary is merely a suggestion. Do whatever serves you in that moment.

About your organizer

WF
Whitney Fenton
Yoga has been a part of my life for over 15 years, and my practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to live each moment more mindfully. I completed my 200 hour training with Yoga Works in Costa Rica and have continued my education with Yoga Journal Conferences, Wanderlust Events and online. I have taught all over California, Mexico and Central America, but I will always be a student of the practice. I am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom my teachers have shared with me. In my classes, I love to combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help you deepen your practice. I seek to help others thrive in life by nurturing body, mind and soul with yoga. My hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.
