Women Of Wisdom Yoga Retreat
February 21 - February 27, 2027
Mahai Retreat • Mahahual, Mexico
What if you gave yourself an entire week to step away from the noise of everyday life, reconnect with yourself, and spend time with an incredible group of women in a beautiful tropical setting?
I’m so excited to invite you to Week 1 of my Women of Wisdom Retreat at Mahai, a gorgeous oceanfront retreat center on Mexico's Caribbean coast. This retreat was created for women who are moving through the many transitions of life — and who are ready to pause, reflect, recharge, and celebrate the wisdom they’ve gained along the way.
Our days will include yoga, meditation, breathwork, workshops, ceremonies, live music, nourishing meals, and plenty of time to relax by the Caribbean Sea.
We’ll explore practices designed to help us reconnect with our bodies, our creativity, our voices, and the wisdom already within us.
And because joy and adventure are part of the medicine too, we’ll also snorkel the Mesoamerican Reef, visit the magical turquoise waters of Bacalar Lagoon and a sacred Mayan pyramid, paddleboard, watch the stars, gather around the fire, laugh, sing, and enjoy simply being together.
But perhaps the most important part of the week can’t be put on an itinerary. The experience of women coming together to support one another, learn from one another, laugh together, and remember just how powerful it can be to make space for ourselves.
I’ve led yoga retreats for more than 12 years, and I'm still amazed by what happens when a group of women steps away from their everyday lives and gathers with intention.
You don’t have to arrive knowing anyone. You don’t have to be an experienced yogi. Just come as you are. If something in you is saying, I need this, I would love to welcome you.
Several accommodation options are still available, including an affordable shared-room option. Come spend a week in paradise with us — and return home rested, renewed, inspired, and radiant.

Maria Santoferraro, joy spreader, E-RYT 500 yoga teacher, storyteller, and always a practicing yoga student, lives in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. After spending over 25 years as a stressed-out corporate executive, she needed a detox from an unhealthy Blackberry addiction, lack of sleep, and an aching back caused by scoliosis. She sought out a healthier lifestyle and is grateful to have found her physical and spiritual release through yoga. Today, she is living a balanced and blissful life, teaching yoga, leading international yoga retreats, and providing inspiration on a Substack page titled We're All Just Here to Help. Her playful, heart-opening teaching combines meditation, breath, alignment, and asana in slow-flowing Hatha yoga classes that incorporate inspirational class themes, music, chanting, and smiling.
