About this trip

Women Rising Wild is a wilderness retreat for Women and Wolves at Mission: Wolf wolf sanctuary in the heart of the southern Rockies in the Wet Mountains of Colorado, Labor Day Weekend, August 31 – September 2, 2018.

It is said: "Within every woman there is a wild and natural creature, a  powerful force, filled with good instincts, passionate creativity, and  ageless knowing.”  Her name is “Wild Woman.” And she dwells in that  “place in time where the spirit of women and the spirit of wolf meet.” -Clarissa Pinkola Estés

At Women Rising Wild you will experience the presence and power of wolves in facilitated contact with the animals and witness firsthand the charge of creative energy and wild intelligence so boldly alive in their bodies. With attention on this mirror to your own potential we will journey together into the wild landscape of the feminine soul to rekindle our own inner fire and enliven the Wild Woman existing within us all.

With nature as your guide and the support of our facilitators and sisters by your side at Women Rising Wild, you will bring life to a deeper and more authentic expression of your own fullness and power as we:

Camp for three days and two nights  in a remote wilderness setting together • Restore a sense of wholeness  and belonging through Deep Nature-Immersion • Learn True Intimacy, Cooperation, and Trust from Wolves • Experience expanded states of  serenity • Invigorate your life force with Dance and Moving Meditation •  Practice Outdoor Skills for Survival • Give Life to Soul Voice as  Wolves Howl • Journey in Healing with Sound • Cocreate a Unified Sacred  Fire Circle • Embody Story as a Healing Art • Renew and Regenerate  through Earth Ritual and Ceremonial Rebirth • Enjoy Organic, Gourmet  Meals prepared to nourish your Wild Body Spirit • and more...
