The Autumn Equinox marks the beginning of fall, a season for balancing light and dark, letting go, and accepting the impermanence of things.
Come flow with us through the last day of summer and into the first day of fall, when dark and light, day and night, are equal. Savor inspiring sunrises and stunning sunsets at the beautiful Banana River Resort, a waterside gem that offers a relaxed, laid-back environment with private river and beach access. At last year's event we even had the great fortune to witness, and swim in, the magical glow of bioluminescence!
We take care of everything for you. Just sign-up and show-up!
Our days will include morning and evening yoga sessions on the riverside deck suitable for all levels of yoginis (we welcome interruptions from dolphins and manatees), three freshly prepared vegetarian/vegan meals daily, group circle time, evening bonfires, and plenty of free time to enjoy the resorts amenities and stunning natural surroundings, including the use of stand-up paddle boards. The weekend will also include a SUP yoga/meditation session, essentials oils make-and-take class, and an evening of vision board creation. This year we happy to offer an optional add-on activity for a small fee: a guided canvas painting class. Surfing and SUP surfing lessons are also available through resort management!
Bring balance back to your body and to your life. Let go and flow through the change of seasons. See you on the river.
This retreat sold out last year so reserve your spot early!
Payment plans are available. Just email us when you register to make arrangements. Final payments are due by September 7, 2018. Refunds available through July 22, 2018.
Erin Jaszczak, 200-RYT
Erin began practicing yoga more than 20 years ago and over the years found that the periods in her life that she let her practice fall away were the times she actually needed it the most. After committing to her personal practice seven years ago, she found healing from past traumas and conditions including metastatic breast cancer at the age of 37, depression, and autoimmune disorders. As an instructor and founder of Where in the World Yoga & Wellness, Erin's goal is to bring yoga to you, no matter where you are on your journey, by providing practical, accessible, and achievable yoga instruction and inspiration to heal any body, with a special emphasis on beginners, returners and recovering bodies. Erin is a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Instructor, trained under yoga master Edely Wallace. She continues to expand her studies and is currently completing her certification as a Lymphatic Yoga® instructor under the programs creator, Edely Wallace.
When not on the mat, Erin enjoys traveling with her husband and two children, preparing meals with local foods, and any activity on the water, especially SUP yoga!
Molly Roberts, 200-RYT
Molly started her yoga journey in 1998 as an elective course in college. That introduction to Hatha Yoga lead to a lifelong love and it quickly became a sanctuary for her fast paced life as a full time student and full time hotel manager. She continued to practice yoga regularly including during all three of her pregnancies. In 2015 she began her 200 RYT teacher training simply to expand her personal knowledge of the history and philosophy of yoga. After completing her basic teacher certification she began offering donation based yoga classes to teachers at a local elementary school. She received her 200 RYT® in 2016 and began working at YogaMatrix Studio in Orlando, Florida as a substitute instructor and assistant to Yoga Master Edely Wallace. Molly is currently training for her certification as a Lymphatic Yoga® Instructor and had the privilege of assisting Edely Wallace in teaching Lymphatic Yoga at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Stockbridge, MA. Molly and her family also have a passion for natural health and wellness. Their home is filled with essential oils which they use for everything from homework time to preventing and assisting when illness creeps in. Molly also incorporates essential oils into her yoga classes. Learn more at WhyMomOils.Weebly.com.
