The retreat starts Friday at 6pm and ends 11am on Sunday
The fall equinox signifies a moment of equilibrium between daylight and darkness, serving as a powerful reminder to seek balance in our own lives, much like nature is transitioning from summer's abundance to winter's rest, allowing us to harvest harmony by reflecting on our own experiences and finding inner equilibrium.
Finding harmony in gratitude and grace means cultivating a mindset where you actively acknowledge and appreciate the good in your life (gratitude), while simultaneously accepting imperfections and extending kindness to yourself and others with an understanding of life's challenges (grace), leading to a sense of inner peace and balance; essentially, being thankful for what you have while also recognizing that not everything is always perfect and allowing for forgiveness and compassion.
May this weekend provide you an opportunity to seek a harmonized balance in yourself as you focus your mind on gratitude and grace toward all of life, including yourself!

Jeannine Wonderling
I started practicing yoga and meditation while entering into my middled-age years, as things were changing drastically in my life. The practice allowed me to feel stronger both mentally and physically, helped alleviate stress and anxiety, and helped me sleep more soundly each night. In addition to becoming a certified RYT 200 Yoga Instructor in 2023, I also started my study of Shinrin Yoku, or Forest Bathing. In October 2024, I became certified as a Forest Therapy Guide. I enjoy hiking and walking outdoors, sewing, theater, music and travel. I live in the Altoona area with my partner, my youngest daughter, and our two crazy goldendoodles.
