Playa Viva is a sustainable boutique hotel located on the western coast of Mexico, just 45 minutes south of Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa Int’l Airport. Nestled between the sparkling water of the Pacific Ocean and the majestic Sierra Madre Mountains near the village of Juluchuca, Playa Viva is situated on a mile of pristine and private beach.

This will be our second trip to Playa Viva and we are very excited to return.

Suspended in mid-air by palm trees, our group will be staying in treehouses designed to echo the Mobula rays you can see flying out of the ocean in front of Playa Viva. 

The treehouses are spacious and will each accommodate four guests, with two guests in each room. They have a private bathroom, an ocean view, and a small lounge area with an in-floor hammock. Click here for a video tour of a treehouse. 

Cost is $2,900 per person ($500 deposit is required at the time of booking). At the time of booking, you may pay the deposit or pay in full. If you pay only the deposit at the time of booking, there will be (6) $400 payments due each month, starting April 1 through September 1, 2024. WeTravel will send email reminders for payment deadlines.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

This retreat is limited to a small number of attendees to offer a more personalized experience  and our cancellation policy is in place to help guests and us alike work together sharing expenses that may arise from unexpected cancellations.

1. Deposits are non-refundable.
2. Full balance is due October 1, 2024 unless otherwise agreed upon. 
3. Cancellation requests submitted prior to Sept 1, 2024 will be refunded at 50% of total amount (less deposit).
4. Cancellation requests submitted after Sept 1, 2024 are not eligible for a refund.
5. Any refunds allowed may incur a processing fee.

We strongly advise that you purchase travel insurance as unexpected events can occur that may require you to cancel your trip. Most travel insurance plans must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation. We cannot be held responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets due to changes in itineraries or retreat cancellations.
