Wine and Olive Oil Adventure
This morning, set out into the Cretan countryside for a day dedicated to two of the island’s greatest treasures—olive oil and wine. Begin with a visit to the Cave of Saint John the Hermit, a site steeped in legend and spirituality.
Continue to a local olive oil mill for a fascinating tour and tasting, where you’ll learn how Crete’s world-renowned olive oil is produced. Nearby, marvel at the oldest olive tree in the world, still thriving after more than 3,000 years.
The day continues at a family-owned winery, where a sommelier guide leads you through an engaging tasting of Crete’s distinctive wines, followed by a delicious lunch served at the estate.
Return to Chania in the afternoon with a free evening to wander the narrow lanes, waterfront promenade, and lively tavernas of the Old Town.
