About this trip

Shri Jasnath Asan (ashram) has welcomed spiritual aspirants for  500 years, and recently creative researchers and performers. They come  away from their lives to design dance, song and poetry. Both adventurers  of the mind and spirit come for Sadhana, which means disciplined and  dedicated practice or learning, especially in religion or music. The  ashram’s environment combines silence, privacy and creative time, with  the opportunity for fellowship, relaxation and inspiration. In a clean,  pleasant, natural surrounding with great vegetarian food, a variety of  diversions, and full cleaning service, your only job will be to learn, explore, research, and write. This is not a workshop. No formal program will be designed. Just a supportive, enhancing environment in a clean, natural setting. Follows the Jaipur Literary Festival

I was very disappointed with my experience with this company. Due to unforeseen circumstances, my cousin and I had to cancel our attendance. It was basically impossible to find any information regarding their cancellation policy. I did so anyway, as we had no choice. I was advised fairly promptly that I had cancelled by the appropriate cut-off date. I hoped that there may be some compensation. I was not expecting a full refund, but a partial one would have been fair given the circumstances. There were one or two vague emails in response to my inquiries about a refund. And then they just stopped contacting me. This left a very poor impression on me, and I certainly won't be seeking to do any experiences through this company again. It struck me as very unprofessional and very contrary to the image presented when promoting the retreat.

The experience exceeded my expectations. I met incredible women from around world. We talked, did art, learned about important causes, shopped, did yoga, danced, ate delicious food, provided a safe space for each other to share their hearts, did workshops, sang songs. It was togetherness Maximus and I LOVED every second. The rooms are large. I felt safe. It was awesome.

The gathering of women at the festival was unforgettable. The ashram accommodation was still being finished as we arrived, but the rooms were spacious and facilities adequate. The atmosphere was lively and warm and far outweighed the austerity. I would highly recommend Attending the next festival.

I'll be back! Excellent food and wonderful entertainment. Thank you for arranging this festival. AMAZING! Just a word to the wise: be sure to pack REALLY warm clothes, there are no heaters in the rooms and it's freezing. But we learned to be one with nature..... :)
