This afternoon, we’ll begin seeing the beautiful Rocky Mountains as we travel on to CHEYENNE, WYOMING for the night! We’ll be setting our clocks back on hour today! Tonight, you’ll have a FREE EVENING to enjoy one of the fine restaurants surrounding our hotel!

Our journey today will be across the beautiful state of WYOMING! You will need to watch for wildlife as we travel through the mountains and enjoy the beautiful scenery! This is truly vast open space! We will enjoy lunch in Rock Springs, Wyoming before continuing our journey into JACKSON HOLE! This is a beautiful drive over the mountains, into the valleys to Jackson! Again, watch for wildlife! We will arrive in time to freshen up a bit, then you’ll want to stroll (about 3 blocks) to downtown Jackson for a real shoot-out! Don’t want to miss this interesting little mountain town!

Today is the day! We are going to pray for a clear day, as we travel to the South Entrance of YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK. Hopefully, you will see the most fabulous mountains, the GRAND TETONS! Keep that camera ready for not only spectacular mountains, but wildlife too! After a brief stop at FLAGG RANCH, we will make our way into YELLOWSTONE! We will tour the LOWER LOOP today, as our guide tells us how this beautiful park was found! We’ll end the tour today in Gardiner, WY where we’ll spend two nights. We will enjoy dinner that night at a restaurant of your choice close to the hotel.

This morning, we head straight for MT. RUSHMORE! As we journey, you will see glimpses of the four famous faces prior to arrival. You will have time to stroll the grounds and enjoy many Kodak moments along with lunch. After our time at Mt. Rushmore, we will visit the CRAZY HORSE MEMORIAL. This unbelievable carving in the side of the mountain will be completed in the next fifteen years.

I had a wonderful time. My first trip by myself and was more than I ever expected. The driver and tour guide were the best. Saw more than was listed on the tour. My first trip but certainly not my last. I would recommend them to anyone that is thinking about heading out on their own.

The bus, overnight facilities, driver & leader, seat locations in the shows, and the events planned were very good. The trip went as planned and supervised very well. We had to wait hours to check in to the Gaylord Resort and I was extremely disappointed in the Grand Ole Opry performers & show. This was my first bus tour and I discovered I do not like the structure of bus tours. Glad I went and felt I got my money's worth, but will not go again. If bus tours are your thing, I would highly recommend American Tours!

We totally understand your frustration with the "check-in wait-time" at the Gaylord Resort. There has always been some amount of wait; however, the wait seems to be longer now after the Covid Shutdown in 2020. This was a great trip! Well organized with fun things to do and good food. Entertainment was wonderful, including Oak Ridge Boys Dinner Show, The Grand Ole Opry, Nashville Nightlife Dinner Show and the General Jackson Showboat. The Gaylord Opryland Resort with atrium view rooms was a little special. We had a wonderful driver and tour director. I recommend Go American Tours!

We had a wonderful time. People were great. We had a lot of laughs. Pam was courteous and so informative. Terry made sure we had a safe trip. He helped us on and off the bus and so did Pam. This is my third trip and I am planning on taking more in the very near future.
