 We return to the park for another day aboard our snow coach, this time venturing into the breathtaking Canyonlands area. Marvel at the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, its colorful rock walls made even more dramatic by snow and ice. This is a photographer’s dream and a naturalist’s delight. After a full day of winter scenery and exploration, we’ll gather for a hearty Montana dinner. (B, L, D)

 Today offers a balance of discovery and relaxation. We begin with a visit to the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center, where you’ll observe these magnificent animals in a naturalistic setting. After lunch in town, we make our way to the scenic Lone Mountain Ranch for a magical winter evening under the stars before returning to West Yellowstone for our final night. (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we say goodbye to West Yellowstone and begin our journey home. Before heading to the airport, we’ll stop at the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman—one of the country’s premier natural history museums. With hearts full and cameras loaded with memories, we return to Oregon with a newfound appreciation for Yellowstone’s quiet beauty in winter. (B)
