Two quiet practices, one deep exploration. This 25-hour training is split evenly between Yin and Restorative yoga so you get a solid foundation in each and a clear sense of what makes them different.
In Yin, we hold poses longer to gently stress the connective tissues, building mobility, patience, and awareness. In Restorative, we use props to fully support the body, so the nervous system can shift out of “doing” and into deep rest and repair. You’ll learn the principles, key postures, prop use, sequencing, and safety considerations for both, along with how to weave them together into practices that balance gentle challenge with true surrender.
For teachers, this training will refine your eye, deepen your cueing, strengthen your voice, and give you the confidence to offer slower, more intentional classes that meet a growing need for stillness and nervous system care.
For dedicated practitioners, it’s an invitation to go beyond the mat: to understand your own body, notice what it needs, and take an active role in your wellbeing.
No matter where you’re coming from, you’ll leave with tools you can use for a lifetime, for your students, and for yourself.

Flying Heart Retreats are rooted in yoga, but they are about far more than time on the mat. Each experience brings together adventurous, open-hearted people who understand the power of traveling in community—how seeing new places and cultures alongside others expands perspective, deepens meaning, and reveals details we might miss on our own. The group dynamic amplifies the beauty of each destination, creating shared moments that feel richer because they are experienced collectively. With community as the priority, these retreats honor yoga in its truest sense: not just poses or practices, but union—coming together, connecting deeply, and leaving places, and each other, better than we found them.
