Yoga Retreat in Kerala
An Authentic Experience of Yoga, Ayurveda and Indian Culture with Asha

Join Asha for a one week, authentic Yoga and Ayurveda Experience in Kerala. Stay in traditional Kerala-style rooms overlooking the serene backwaters of Kerala for 3 days of Yoga Immersion with daily energizing morning practice (Asana, Pranayama, and Meditation) and gentle and calming evening Yoga Nidra and Meditation sessions.

During the first 3 days we will explore the local sights in Kerala. Journey into the villages, get a glimpse into the life of the locals, their arts, crafts, cuisine and learn about Yoga’s counterpart ‘Ayurveda’ which Kerala is most famous for.

We then head up to the vastly green and secluded Hill station of Munnar for the next 3 days surrounded by the natural and untouched beauty of Munnar. We will immerse ourselves in nature and enjoy exploring the local environment with nature walks, organic farm visits and tea tasting at one of the local tea plantations that Munnar is known for.

The will commence our trip, living you feeling rejuvenated and inspired to continue our Yoga and Ayurveda health practices when you return home.

I am a Yoga teacher that is passionate about helping people find and sustain their own inner well-being. I am an Indian/Canadian, born in New Delhi, the capital of India and spent 27 years living and traveling all over the country. It was my travels into the rural and untouched parts of India that left an indelible impact on me and my understanding of the purpose and efficacy of Yoga + Ayurveda as a simple, practical and sustainable way to live harmoniously within yourself and your environment. I currently live in Sydney and continue to teach Yoga. I also run Yoga workshops, courses, and trips to India. I specialize in Yoga for the individual and I utilize the versatility and extent of Yoga techniques to aid each person in their specific health needs. Other stuff about me: I love playing guitar and Tibetan sound bowls. Training in Jiujitsu and going on awesome adventures.
