This yoga retreat is about awakening and embodiment. Work with your barriers and converse about what feels important and what matters. 


The ground on which we will be staying, the Jughandle Creek Farm, is a working farm on a nature preserve that serves as a gateway for the world's largest intact Pygmy Forest Ecological Staircase. The preserve also boasts a short hike to a stunning coastal beach. There are beautiful places to pause for reflection, to sit and listen to the birds and the wind and the ocean, and to adventure in the surrounds.

Cancellation Policy

Deposits are non-refundable.


Remaining fees are fully refundable 90 days in advance.


Cancellations 90 to 45 days in advance are eligible for a 50% refund of fees above deposit.


Fees are non-refundable 44 days before the start of the event.


We will make exceptions if we are able to fill your spot, but this cannot be guaranteed.

    Shared room in the main house is free, but you may upgrade to single room or private cabin. They are listed as add-ons to the retreat price.
  • Delicious Organic Meals
    Eco conscious meals by chef Alaya Babineau. Dinner will be served September 27, Brunch and Dinner September 28, and Brunch September 29.
  • All Retreat Workshops
    Vinyasa yoga with live chanting, Yin/Restorative yoga with adjustments. Earth Wisdom practices.

Embody Your Freedom
Sample daily schedule

We will practice yoga in the beautiful main room. We will begin each day with chanting and pranayama, followed by breakfast and then an active morning session. In the afternoon there will be time for hiking, beach play, walking the grounds, massage and personal reflection time. This preserve features an amazing Pygmy forest that is a beautiful hike through several distinct ecosystems and leaves right from our accomodations. We will gather in the late afternoon for a restorative yoga session followed by a delicious dinner.

Satya Gita is a long-time, devoted practitioner and teacher of yoga. In her more than 20 years of practice, she has studied many forms of yoga, including Jivamukti, Integral, Ashtanga, Standing Wave, Forrest, and Anusara. Born in Oslo and raised in Trondheim Norway, she studied dance at The London Contemporary Dance School and on Africa’s Ivory Coast before moving to New York to study and teach at Jivamukti. She was also certified at the Integral Yoga Institute and studied Standing Wave. Satya then created and implemented a yoga program for Harbin Hot Springs, an internationally known retreat center in California. During this time, she founded her own teaching style called Anahatha Yoga, which utilizes physical postures and alignment to open energetic dimensions and pathways in the body.

Satya is such a special individual and it's an honor to have any time at all in her presence. Add in therapeutic hot springs, yoga, meditation, chanting and the intimacy of a small group in a beautiful natural environment - at the end of the weekend you pretty much feel like you've "gone to the moon." I can't recommend this retreat highly enough for anyone wanting to s-l-o-w, move more inward and come home to themselves.

Wonderful and nourishing weekend. Satya is a gifted, highly skilled teacher of embodiment and of living spiritual principles on the ground, in real life. I went away feeling relaxed, my body and mind opened and inspired. Highly recommended!

What an incredible experience, life changing even. I am stuck in a bliss hangover, in awe over the magnitude self realization that arose. I can't recommend this retreat enough to anyone looking to deepen their life experience.

What an amazing retreat with Satya at Sierra Hot Springs! This was my first time working with Satya who came highly recommended, also my first time at Sierra Hot Spring and both exceeded my expectations. Satya's healing energy mixed with being in nature at the hot springs made the weekend magical. I am looking forward to doing more work with this beautiful yoga practitioner.
