With one hour driving one can be in Assisi, Perugia, Arezzo, Urbino.The food is vegetarian only, largely organic, prepared with great care.(vegan and other special dietery requirments available).Silence and close contact with nature are between the main features.

Bird of paradise retreat you will be guided through daily Hatha Asana Practice.The word “Hatha” comes from “Ha” which means sun and “Tha” which means moon. We will guide you through a traditional Hatha Practice focusing on Posture, alignment and mental focus, developing strength internally as well as externally. Yoga unites mind, body and spirit by connecting with the breath, we can go deeper within to experience a connection with universal energy increasing prana (vital energy) and giving you the tools to live a happier, healthier lifestyle.
Yoga works on all systems of our being, it will strengthen your immune system, calm your nervous system, strengthen your digestive system, balance your endocrine system as well as improving sleep patterns, eating habbits, confidence, balance, memory, focus, flexibility, strength, injury, emotional disorders and improves range of motion and general well being. Each class will be diverse, having elements of strong flow, soothing yin practice to work on tight fascia muscle release, spiritual guidance and philosophy related to asana practice. we explore movements of the body with some elements of play and breath work.
