Petrichor is a Permaculture Farm and we follow the principles of the slow food movement - ethical food production, ethical food consumption and connections to all aspects of life. The food we serve to our retreat Guests is plant-based, nutritious and organic , all grown in our permaculture gardens and harvested fresh. We also have raw and vegan food on the menu. Smoothies, elixirs, herbal teas are also part of the menu.
Apurva is a 200 hour RYC Alliance certified yoga teacher who has been practicing Hatha, Ashtanga and Vinayasa Yoga for several years. She is a very considerate and compassionate instructor . She is also the Co-Founder and in-house Yoga Teacher of Sumitra Yogashala in Darjeeling.
Both certified Permaculture Designers, they are the Co-Founders of Petrichor, a Sustainable Living Education Center in Gorubathan, India. They are passionate about education vis a vis Agriculture/ Natural Farming, Natural Building, Bamboo, Slow Food/Food Sovereignty and Yoga.
