About this trip

Yoga has the power to transform your body and your mind, enabling you to lead a happier, healthier, and more meaningful life. But what you emphasize when you practice yoga will determine whether you are maximizing or minimizing yoga's extraordinary benefits.

In this retreat you will learn how to increase the benefits of yoga while learning to let go of detrimental behavior patterns that can creep into your practice, using techniques refined by Gernot Huber that combine ancient wisdom with insights from modern anatomy, physiology, and neuroscience.  You will also learn specific techniques to address common health concerns such as back pain, poor posture, chronic stress, insomnia, constipation, neck tension, depression, low energy, scoliosis, and osteoporosis. An anonymous questionnaire will be handed out at the opening circle to determine which health concerns are most prevalent among the retreat attendees, in order to tailor the sessions specifically to the group's needs.
