Join Linda and Samantha for a magical week of yoga and hot pilates on one of the juiciest islands on the planet. In Bali, every local has an art that they practice actively, and every moment is lived as a miracle. Come immerse yourself in this gorgeous culture, and enjoy extraordinary massages, ancient temple-hopping, and adventuring through spectacular rice fields. We are staying at one of the most awarded boutique resorts on the island, where every wish comes true.
Wake up to the sound of birds, hop in your outdoor shower, then join the guided walk through the rice fields, or go for a luxurious swim in the pool. Meditate overlooking the jungle gorge or just sleep in.
Breakfast is at your leisure and probably the best you've ever had. That's what people have said again and again, and we agree.
The morning practice is two hours (alternating 2 hours of yoga, or 1 hour of Hot Pilates + 1 hour of Yoga), in a pavilion perched on a cliff looking down on a river and lush tropical forests. There are no words to describe the view. Time stops and all goodness is restored in the world.
The entire afternoon is open for you to enjoy lunch by the pool or join excursions, head to the beach, or visit spectacular temples, check yourself into the spa, or do some serious shopping in downtown Ubud.
The evening class is an hour (Hot Pilates or Yoga) to get us out in time for a sunset swim or maybe a second massage that day (trust us!).
Dinner will be either out on the town with the group or with a few friends, maybe enjoying a dance performance, or a 5-course gourmet indulgence in the private salon of Michelin-starred Mozaik, or just quiet time for you to restore.
All classes will cater to all levels; also, they are all optional. Pick and choose from what is offered based on how you feel - choose a little or choose a lot.

*HOW ROOM SHARING WORKS
If you are coming with a friend, then super easy - you just room with them. Can't talk anyone into joining you in paradise? We will assign you with someone awesome of your gender and guarantee you won't be sharing a bed. If you are the last to sign up and there's no-one left to pair you with, we can try to work you in as a triple (at a discount) or you can splurge for Single. We would let you know asap.
We are looking forward to seeing you in paradise!
Please contact the resort at contact info below to schedule your pick-up. Alternatively you can catch a ride from the airport but it may be a gamble for cost.
Sat is arrival day. Because everyone arrives at different times and some of us quite late, you are invited to enjoy dinner on your own a la carte in one of the hotel's restaurants (cost of which is included). There is no yoga Saturday.
Breakfast will be served 7am-10am on Sunday morning in the Kemiri Restaurant. Enjoy at your leisure. Our first class is at 9am. We will have lunch as a group onsite at the Cucina restaurant at noon, including an Orientation and Q&A.
Below is the general schedule for the week. Please note that class and meals times may be subject to change depending on excursions or group activities. This is just to give you a general idea. The retreat will end Fri evening allowing for preparations for departure on Sat.
Breakfast 7am - 9am
Yoga 9 - 11am
Lunch on your own (except Sunday)
There is a lot to do in Bali! We will go over all available excursions during Sunday Orientation and take a poll on interest to coordinate your perfect schedule. You can study the options here:
Think: PACK LIGHT
Almost everything you need will be available in Bali and you just might end up buying a lot of clothing at very affordable prices. Laundry is available at the resort for reasonable prices. The only shoes you will need are flip flops or slip ons and a good pair of walking shoes. Sidewalks are uneven and the atmosphere casual, so leave your heels at home! Also, leave your expensive jewelry at home, too. Think of it as another shopping opportunity. The list below is quite extensive and you probably won’t need every item on this list!
Passport and Copy
Lightweight, 100% Cotton is best.
Shirts, capris, shorts and sundresses. Lightweight cover ups to protect from sun and bugs, and to cover shoulders for temple visits.
Light jacket or long sleeves for evenings
Swimsuit cover up
Glasses (reading glasses)
Sunhat foldable is best
Flip flops or slip ons
Comfortable walking shoes
Yoga mat cover only (Mandukas are available at the resort)
Reusable water bottle (refill with safe water at the hotel - avoid Bali Belly!)
Toothbrush and paste
Body wash/ soap
Any Travel medicines you prefer: ibuprofen, immodium, anti-itch lotions, cortisone creme (in case of skin irritation), etc
Small purse/money belt
Flashlight and batteries if you plan on night walking
TSA approved travel locks on every zipper of your checked luggage: do it!
Cash ($100 bills 2004 or newer) - we recommend you bring at least $200 for tips, market shopping etc...
Credit Cards (Be sure to notify your company that you will be out of the country so they won’t put a stop on your card)
$25 Cash for Visa on arrival
Cell phone & charger - get international package if planning on using cellular data
Computer & charger
Tablet & charger
Camera & charger
Headphones or earbuds
Adapters - In Bali, the electric plugs are type C, F and G. You will need a voltage converter and plug adapter in order to use US appliances. Your rooms are equipped with 2 international plugs already.
