Join Kate Sondag & Tara McLaughlin for a retreat in Brac, Croatia and press pause on your daily routine as you indulge in the yoga practice, community and culture of Croatia!
This retreat will be limited in size, offering an intimate space for guidance and support throughout the week. This includes twice-daily world-class asana practice, seaside accommodation at one of our luxury island villas, and lovingly prepared Dalmatian inspired meals served by our private chef.
Expect rich conversation, space to reflect, and fresh approaches to classic asana.
Kate & Tara hope that each student will leave the retreat feeling refreshed and inspired
to move forward from a place of intention and mindfulness.
In between the yoga sessions, there will be plenty of time to relax, enjoy a swim in the pool or book a therapeutic massage. There'll also be plenty of time to explore Brac's magnificent beaches and stroll at its lively villages. A day trip to Blaca's 16th Century Monastery is always a must, followed by a scenic boat ride to Croatia's Most Famous Beach, Zlatni Rat. Enjoy an island tour exploring some of Croatia's most beloved beaches.
Feel free to check out the extras and we can help you customize your journey.
Kate grew up traveling from place to place and always relied on yoga to help find “home.” Yoga became her touchstone, allowing her to find community in times where she was living in the unknown. It was her way to create home both internally and in the outside world.
In addition to her yoga practice, Kate works on contemporary paintings. Like the way she approaches a painting, she believes yoga is a balance between structure, fluidity, and energetic expression. In her class, she provides space for free movement to reconnect with the creative child that lives inside us all. She curates space by sequencing a class that invites her students to get out of their minds and into their bodies. Kate received her 200 hour training at YogaWorks in New York City and continued her education at YogaFlow under Erin Gilmore. Join her on the mat to breathe, play, and find home.
