About this trip

***We still have space in a male shared room, so please reach out directly if you are interested and we can set you up with a bed.***


Join us this summer as we head back to the Colorado mountains for a weekend of hiking, yoga, mindfulness, and delicious local foods. You’ll walk away feeling recharged in a way that only nature can give and empowered to live a little more outside your comfort zone.  


Expect hiking, daily yoga & meditation, mindfulness activities, and conversation where we’ll go on an inward exploration of our goals, values, and personal mission statements - and, of course, plenty of time to relax and enjoy the mountain energy! 


We chose the beautiful Shadowcliff Mountain Lodge as our home for the weekend. Shadowcliff is a rustic and eco-friendly lodge with a mission to "educate and encourage others to reconnect with the natural world and ask questions about choices that we make during our lives." 


WHO WE ARE


Bre Allison leaned on yoga to get her through the stress of Corporate America before realizing success doesn't have a C-level title or a dollar sign. Ditching 70 hour work weeks for 70 mile hikes, she decided to pursue her passion by sharing the healing power of the outdoors and yoga. She draws from various yoga trainings and philosophies, as well as her background as an athlete and experience with injury recovery. She believes your practice is the mat, life is the real yoga.


Amy Hall discovered the significance of mindfulness through her long time career in corporate training and people development. Working with everyone from high level execs to career changers to the front lines, she saw the impact daily mindfulness and meditation practices can have on personal growth- not only for her clients, but in her own life. This sparked the creation of Through Stillness, a 6 week course in mindful, minimalist living.


Madison Warren is a graduate of the Chef's Training Program at Natural Gourmet Institute in New York City, yoga enthusiast, proud gardener and a lover of the great outdoors. Her favorite place is in the kitchen, second only to the side of a mountain. She prefers her food plant-centric and her animal proteins sustainable, grass-fed, organic and pasture-raised. Seasonal, local and organic is her mantra. She believes food should be delicious and make you feel good.

What’s included

    Daily yoga & guided meditation
  • Mindfulness Practice
    Mindfulness instruction through journaling, walking meditation, internal exploration
  • Hikes
    Short hike Friday to get acclimated, longer hike Saturday (options for all levels.)
  • Meals
    Thursday PM to Sunday AM. Breakfast (F, Sa, Su), lunch on the go (F, Sa), and dinner(Th, F, Sa), along with some trail snacks.
  • Welcome Bag
    Some items to use during the retreat- journal, pens, snacks, etc
  • Accommodations
    Cliffside Lodge at Shadowcliff is a rustic setting with a camp feel. Your linens will be provided during check-in, shared bathrooms, and plenty of nooks to sneak away for privacy.

What’s not included

  • Airfare
    Denver International Airport (DIA) has the best options for flights.
  • Transportation
    Transportation to and from Shadowcliff is not provided. If you need this coordinated from DIA or Denver, we can include with an additional cost, subject to check in/out times.
  • Additional Activities
    SUP boarding and other lake activities will be offered with additional cost.
  • Exploring Town
    The town is a short walk from Shadowcliff, any meals or shopping done in town will not be included.

I leaned on yoga while working the grind in Corporate America before realizing success doesn't have a C-level title or a dollar sign. Trading 70 hour work weeks for 70 mile hikes, sharing the healing power of the outdoors and yoga. My approach builds from my experience playing in the mountains; yoga as a means to stay healthy mentally, emotionally, physically. After trainings with PTSD, TBI and my own experiences, I now focus working with private clients; I am currently enrolled in an 800 hour Yoga Therapy program with Amrit Institute.

T'was a wonderful retreat and timing for a transition happening in my life. The combination of activities - both athletic, and mindfulness activities were thoughtful and balanced. The food was absolutely amazing, and it was great to be able to have in a "community" space and table for sharing and getting to know others and meet new friends. A wonderful weekend of yoga, hiking and goal setting, combined with deliciously and thoughtfully prepared food and refreshments. I am counting down till the next trip that these three amazing people organize.

It was a real treat to attend Breana and Amy's Yoga, Mindfulness Adventure. It was a great combination with yoga, hiking and mindfulness. All the activities were run with great care and attention to the attendees. Good variety of yoga classes emphasizing different areas of our bodies. The mindfulness was something totally new to me and something I can further explore. Hiking in the Colorado mountains gave us an opportunity to also enjoy the great outdoors. The experience at the Yoga, Mindfulness and Adventure was amazing. The yoga instructions was great. I was a first time yogi as I attended with my wife and I was able to complete multiple classes. The workshops for mindfulness were very good for my marriage. The hiking was outstanding as the colorado views were great even in the rain. The food and accommodations were in line with the entire weekend, love it! Thank you to the team that put all this together for my wife and I. We will be back!
