Relax, explore, work out, and breathe in the beautiful fresh air in the Dominican Republic! Our retreat will take place in a boutique hotel located in Samana— a beautiful peninsula in the north of the Dominican Republic. You'll have the option to take part in classes throughout the day such as Vinyasa, 26+2 yoga, yin yoga, and Pilates sculpt/core/HIIT. Everything is optional! If you'd rather sleep in one day, or plan a solo trip into town to explore, do it!!! There will be a beach hike excursion included where we will traverse 7 beaches and have a picnic lunch. Meals at the resort will be served buffet style and are included in the retreat price. Alcoholic beverages and soft drinks are available for purchase at an additional cost. The resort is on a private beach and has Kayaks, paddleboards, and bikes available to use during your stay. We can help you plan any extra excursion you may want to experience during your stay! Our main goal is that you have FUN, feel relaxed, eat good food, and enjoy yourselves.
Meet Our Hosts and Teachers!
Wendy: Wendy is our kick-ass yoga teacher! She is Pilates and yoga certified through YTTP. She will be guiding you through the 26+2 yoga series. She has an eye for form and will definitely help bring your practice to the next level.
Lexi: Lexi will be teaching her hard-core pilates classes. You will feel muscles you didn't know you had. She is a retired professional ballet dancer and performed/toured all around the UK, Scotland, and Whales. Lexi likes to focus on smaller and SLOWER movements, that don't require momentum-Perfect for low impact but boy, will you feel it!! Fun Fact: Lexi competed in the USA regional Yoga competition where she placed 1st in New York!
Anna: A Madison, Wisconsin native, Anna found her love of teaching after she retired from dancing professionally. The Sacramento Ballet, Oklahoma City Ballet, and American Contemporary Ballet are just a few of the companies she performed with. Her class aims to target and sculpt every muscle in the body. “Hurts so good!” is something you might find yourself saying during Anna's class!
Christie: Christie is our beloved acupuncturist and social butterfly. You can book all your acupuncture sessions with him! He studied at London University and is both New York Board certified and Nationally Board certified (N.C.C.A.) With over 30 years of experience, he is a wealth of knowledge.
Laura Rosenberg MS, RDN, CDN Laura Rosenberg MS, RDN, CDN is a nutrition educator and a trained health-supportive chef. Her passion lies in inspiring healthy living with delicious food. Laura applies nutrition and culinary strategies in translating nutrition to the plate in her practice at greennapkinnutrition.com. Roseanne Nenninger ND has been a naturopathic doctor and homeopath for over 25 years. She specializes in women’s health to help balance their hormones, help them heal from auto immunity, brain inflammation and digestive disorders. She’s happy to work with you to bring balance to the body.
Katie Southard
I am a mother of two inspiring people, attorney, and business owner. As a perfectionist (currently in recovery), in a career, which expects perfection, I needed to rebuild my mental and emotional infrastructure. I needed to learn how to relax, go with the flow, and give myself the safety, time and space needed to learn.
In 2022 I Completed the RYT 200-hour foundational course study for Kundalini Yoga under the tutelage of Guru Singh and Brett Larkin. I remain enrolled in Kundalini University to continue my studies.
Inspired by learning and sharing information, it is my desire to help others learn how to slow down and breathe. We will join together with a unique blend of movement, mediation and sound. We will learn together how to shift our energy, use our voice, focus on what we can change and what we do not have control of. Together we will build mental balance and learn how to feel the radiance of life.
This will be an introductory class. The less you know, the better! If you are curious, please join this introductory class.

When you checkout, you willo be able to let us know if you have a preference between a king-sized bed or two full-sized beds, and we will make a note of your preference in case there are any openings!! You will also have the option to let us know if you are traveling/rooming with someone so we can pair you together!
