Square One Yoga's teacher training program is offered over the course of two intensive modules which, taken together, certify students to teach yoga in a variety of settings. Students who do not wish to teach my opt to take just the first module and current teachers who have completed a 200-hour program may take the second module to strengthen their teaching practice. (Yoga Alliance CE credits are available for either module.)
Both programs will be offered in a hybrid format, with most weekends spend in-studio at the El Cerrito location and one evening a week online.
In this program, you will:
The Practitioner Program meets Saturdays and Sundays September 2 through December 17 as well as Wednesdays from 6 - 7. We will break for holidays on October 8, November 11, and Thanksgiving week. Here is the draft schedule.

The Professional Program meets the first Saturday and Sunday of everyone month January - June, 2024 and Mondays from 5:30 - 7:30. Here is the draft schedule.

Over the course of the Practitioner Program you will:
Study in a body positive, trauma-informed, socially aware studio that is respectful of the culture that brought us this practice

Strengthen your asana practice with intelligence and care
Learn why is yoga so effective at improving physical and emotional well-being
Practice techniques to take you beyond the poses
Study and discuss the philosophical underpinnings of yoga

Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Credits are available for this course.
