Before You Go
We'll gather in this historic and sacred space to explore. Non-smoking and alcohol free. Bring comfortable shoes and a flashlight for walks or hiking during free time.
3:00pm: Arrivals begin
5:00-6:30pm: Yoga Workshop 1
Workshop 1: Theory and practice. We will explore the building blocks for a solid foundation to build strength, flexibility, stability, breath awareness and introduction to meditation. (Asana+Discussion)
Saturday: Day 2
7:00am-8:00am: Group Yoga Class
10:30am-12:00pm: Yoga Workshop 2
Workshop 2: Techniques and transitions-standing: Working with sun salutations, standing and balancing poses, we will learn where strength and ease are needed to smooth out the transitions for an elegant and dynamic flow. We will deepen our understanding of vinyasa: Sanskrit-Nyasa denotes "to place" and vi denotes "in a special way". (Mostly Asana)
3:30pm-5:00pm: Yoga Workshop 3Workshop 3: Techniques and transitions-seated: Following the advice from the yoga sutra 2:46-48, Sthira Sukham Asanam (Seated posture should be steady and comfortable), we will work through the challenges and obstacles of finding our comfortable seat and transitions from seated through vinyasa and back to seated. (Mostly Asana)

Sunday: Day 3-departure
9:30am-11:00am: Yoga Workshop 4
Workshop 4: Theory and practice. We will continue to explore the building blocks for a solid foundation to build strength, flexibility, stability, breath awareness and stamina with back bends. (Asana+Discussion)
