Depending on what time you arrive you can book a massage, go horseback riding, or relax by the pool.  We will kick off our retreat with a welcome circle starting at 5:00pm followed by dinner.

This was a wholly amazing experience in a beautiful, friendly place that allowed me to fully relax and re-connect to myself as well as connect on more than just a superficial level with many new friends. Everything, from the arranged airport transportation, to our AMAZING meals and fun activities (surfing, hiking, etc.), to (of course) the phenomenal active yoga instruction really made this trip special. Kat was on top of everything; her communication was excellent throughout the process and her itinerary for our group was FULL of truly restorative and unique experiences while also allowing for personal down time to rest, journal, or enjoy the great weather. Kat has spent many years visiting El Salvador and due to her comfort level and praise for the country, I was very comfortable the entire time. The staff at Mizata was also amazing and made everything easy and special. I highly recommend ANY Kat Ruiz retreat as well as Mizata Resort!

The yoga retreat was great! It was fun to have surf lessons, the horseback riding. the massages also included as options. The resort was very pretty and it felt safe. The retreat organizer, Kat Ruiz, did an amazing job organizing the events every day. We never felt rushed or busy to do everything . It was just the right amount of activities.
