Maggie is a certified 500-hour ERYT. Most of you may know me as the owner of Yoga Connect in Lansing. I have been teaching since 2013 around the Lansing, Michigan area, leading trainings since 2016, and have owned the studio itself since 2018. I came to yoga looking for both physical release and mental strength and clarity that I didn't know I was missing after having children and changing careers.
As I continued to practice, my love of training grew, and my passion for helping others grow personally ignited! It was important to me to help cultivate and provide a physical space for others to make their way through personal healing, which is when Yoga Connect was 're-born.' Post-pandemic, the importance of community was at the forefront of our mission. We both brought the community physically back together--AND took our studio family outside of our comfort zone on two small retreats in 2021 (Phoenix and Sedona) and 2023 (Tulum, Mexico).

Multiple morning and evening yoga classes will be available during your stay. All classes are optional, so you can choose what you feel is right.
Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park contain some of the most spectacular hiking trails in the country. From Observation Point to the Narrows, there is something for you!
We take food very seriously, and we know our guests do too. All meals are included during your stay, as well as snacks for your activities. We also offer gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options upon request.
You deserve a little "me time." That's why each retreat has built-in leisure time so you can relax in the hot tub, journal, or take a nap. All activities are optional so you can enjoy your retreat at your own pace.
Our retreat homes are located just outside of Zion National Park and a short drive from Bryce Canyon National Park. We take you into the parks and drop you off where you need to go (no parking required). Entry to the parks is also included.
Transportation from Salt Lake City International Airport to the retreat homes is included, as well as all planned activities and meals during your stay. Don't worry about any extra costs or hidden fees. Just sit back and relax.

The deadline to book a domestic retreat is 15 days before the retreat begins; however, some exceptions can be made based on availability.

This one-time retreat host deposit covers booking the house and is fully refundable on the last day of the retreat. In the event of cancellation, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
Welcome! Our adventure will begin in Salt Lake City, Utah. We'll pick up each guest at the airport or local area hotel. Then, we'll depart as a group and make the approximately 5-hour scenic drive to the retreat home. We'll pass through the gorgeous scenery of Central Utah before arriving at the house between 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm. First, we will do a welcome orientation as a group. Next, we will review the retreat and hiking opportunities schedule, followed by an evening yoga session and a group dinner.
9:00 am - 11:00 am: Airport/Hotel Pickups - Scheduled pickups from Salt Lake City International Airport and hotels. Please plan to arrive in SLC no later than 11:00 am when the retreat departs. We strongly recommend arriving a day before the retreat.
Noon: Lunch/Grocery Stop - We will make a short stop to grab lunch and last-minute items for the trip. We will also stop at the Utah State Liquor Store if guests want to purchase any alcoholic beverages.
1:00 pm: Depart from Salt Lake City
6:00 pm: Welcome Orientation at the retreat home
6:30 pm: Evening Yoga
7:30 pm: Group Dinner
