Join Mary-Allison Bauer & Walker Wellness Retreats as we host an incredible four-night/five-day hiking and yoga retreat in beautiful southern Utah! Expand your knowledge of how to take care of one’s mind, body, and soul during this informative and fun wellness retreat!

Meet Your Retreat Host

Mary-Allison’s lifelong interest in fitness began while training in gymnastics in her youth. As a teacher, she has a trademark enthusiasm for showing how fitness can help people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds.

A resident of Gulf Shores, Alabama, Mary-Allison has been teaching group fitness on and off the island since 2016.

She is a certified ACE group fitness instructor, RYT-200 yoga instructor, that teaches breath-based power classes, as well as yin and chair yoga. She leads workshops for the public and is a special guest instructor for yoga teacher trainings.

She is a certified barre instructor and teaches at various health clubs and boutique studios. She is also a program specialist with Barre Above where she trains and educates participants who are interested in becoming barre instructors.

In addition, Mary-Allison is a corporate wellness coach for OM Personal Training located in Fairhope, Alabama.

She and her husband, Andy, have two daughters, Sophia and Camille, and enjoy spending free time at the beach, riding bikes, working in the yard and traveling.

Yoga

Multiple morning and evening yoga classes will be available during your stay. All classes are optional, so you can choose what you feel is right. 

Hiking

Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park contain some of the most spectacular hiking trails in the country. From Observation Point to the Narrows, there is something for you! 

Quality Food

We take food very seriously, and we know our guests do too. All meals are included during your stay, as well as snacks for your activities. We also offer gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options upon request. 

Relaxation & Rejuvenation

You deserve a little "me time." That's why each retreat has built-in leisure time so you can relax in the hot tub, journal, or take a nap. All activities are optional so you can enjoy your retreat at your own pace.

National Park Access

Our retreat homes are located just outside of Zion National Park and a short drive from Bryce Canyon National Park. We take you into the parks and drop you off where you need to go (no parking required). Entry to the parks is also included.

All-Inclusive

Transportation from Salt Lake City International Airport to the retreat homes is included, as well as all planned activities and meals during your stay. Don't worry about any extra costs or hidden fees. Just sit back and relax.

The deadline to book a domestic retreat is 15 days before the retreat begins; however, some exceptions can be made based on availability.

Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival & Retreat Orientation

Welcome! Our adventure will begin in Salt Lake City, Utah. We'll pick up each guest at the airport or local area hotel. Then, we'll depart as a group and make the approximately 5-hour scenic drive to the retreat home. We'll pass through the gorgeous scenery of Central Utah before arriving at the house between 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm. First, we will do a welcome orientation as a group. Next, we will review the retreat and hiking opportunities schedule, followed by an evening yoga session and a group dinner. 


9:00 am - 11:00 am: Airport/Hotel Pickups - Scheduled pickups from Salt Lake City International Airport and hotels. Please plan to arrive in SLC no later than 11:00 am on the day the retreat departs. We strongly recommend arriving a day before the retreat.


Noon:
Lunch/Grocery Stop - We will make a short stop to grab lunch and last-minute items for the trip. We will also stop at the Utah State Liquor Store if guests want to purchase any alcoholic beverages.


1:00 pm: Depart from Salt Lake City

6:00 pm: Welcome Orientation at the retreat home

7:00 pm: Evening Yoga

8:00 pm: Group Dinner

We loved Greece. Athens was amazing, so much to see and do. Santorini was beautiful and a wonderful place to see the sunset. The Fira to Oia walk offers wonderful views. Crete was everything we wanted it to be. Walking the Imbros Gorge did not disappoint. The food was outstanding and the people are extremely friendly.

Seeing Italy was a trip of a lifetime! It was absolutely amazing to not have to worry about the incidentals, which Amy took complete care of like the pro she is! Meals, accommodations, taxes, tipping and places we went to were all prearranged and all we had to do was enjoy our trip! We're actually doing another trip with Amy next year! Thanks Amy for a most wonderful experience!

An amazing trip that exceeded my expectations! Brian was a wonderful host, making sure we knew all of the hiking details, schedules and more. Amber made us the most delicious food that I already miss! I cannot wait to book my next trip with Walker Wellness Retreats, it was a seamless and wonderful experience!! Zion and Bryce National Parks are magical places!
