We enjoyed getting to know our fellow travelers, the city tours, and activities arranged. The lodging was extremely nice and the whole experience was enhanced by having Carlos as our guide.

The trip was excellent and well organized. I appreciated that our guide, Carlos, and our bus driver were mindful of our safety. I definitely wanted to see the Spanish National Park. However, our safety to stay away from the fire zone was certainly the best course of action. Of our four walking tour guides, I enjoyed the information shared in San Sebastian the most. I am certain that the location close to the ocean and with all the holiday activity influenced my opinion. Overall, I am extremely glad I went on the tour. The adjustment to reduce the cost and time of the tour was helpful. One thing that may have improved the tour is a more formal welcome event such as a welcome breakfast on the first official tour day rather than going right to the walking tour. The welcome breakfast would be an opportunity to share information about being safe in the various locations, share maps, and have some time for introductions.

The SIU Alumni trip to Spain was wonderful! The itinerary was well thought out, the hotel accommodations were very nice, and our guide was great. Enjoyed everyone's company.

I do not usually like to do group trips. But I found it was very relaxing to have someone else taking care of all the travel and accommodations. We met a lot of great Salukis and look forward to seeing them again when they visit the Carbondale area.

Great time. Made good friends around a unique event in Spain. The travel went off without and surprises and the hotels were all pretty good. The guide we had was spectacular.
