Thank you so much to Claudia for helping me secure last minute gear while in puerto natales! I highly recommend contacting this company for any gear you need!! We needed hiking poles and micro spikes at the last minute for unexpected ice/snowy conditions before doing the base of the Torres hike and Do Patagonia was able to rent me the gear on a last minute notice. Would have been a nightmare doing this hike without the gear. THANK YOU DO PATAGONIA!!! Cannot recommend highly enough!

Rented trekking poles since LATAM doesn't allow them as carry on. Everything was perfect. Communication was excellent. Drop off was done right at my location. Give back was also awesome. We didn't get back till after 22:00 and they were able to accommodate this. Would absolutely use again.

Despite the short notice, Nati, who I was communicating with, responded incredibly quickly and efficiently. When she realized that my suitcase was not suitable for the campsite, she kindly lent me a backpack. She also provided a personalized pre-tour briefing, which allowed me to relax and rest the day before the trek after a long flight. She handled optional tour arrangements promptly as well, which always made me feel reassured. The first day’s trek to Torres del Paine was quite challenging for a beginner—the trail was steep and demanding. However, our guides Felipe and Magda supported the group very carefully and attentively, which made me feel safe throughout the hike. I didn’t have much time or energy to take photos myself, but Felipe took many wonderful pictures and shared them with us, which I truly appreciated. As a trekking beginner, I was initially worried about clothing and hydration, but thanks to the clear instructions provided in advance, everything went smoothly. As long as you prepare proper base, mid, and outer layers, you’ll be fine. The sun and wind can be very strong, so don’t forget protection for both! The campsite felt like it was family-run, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The wind at night can be quite strong, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs. The sleeping bag was warm, so there was no concern there. One downside was that the electricity didn’t work at night, and several showers were broken, leaving only a few available—but there was hot water. As for the food, dinner was especially delicious. I would love to eat the charcoal-grilled salmon and beef again.

The trip was amazing. Special thanks to Natalia, Magda, and Felipe for making this trip so memorable. The trek was very challenging but their positivity, energy, and encouragement helped us throughout the journey, and the wonderful views and experience made it all worth while. Transaction and communication before and during the trip were also very smooth and stress free. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking for a good adventure!
