We just had a once-in-a-lifetime experience in the Galapagos thanks to Galasky Tours. They organized a 10-day trip for us, including 5 days on a wonderful Galaxy Yacht, a day in Puerto Ayura, two days in San Cristobal and two days in Quito. Each step of the way we were met by Galasky staff who took us to our hotels, helped us through the airports, got us all the documents we needed, and arranged tours. We didn’t have to worry about a thin except for buying our plane tickets to Quito. The boat part was especially magnificent, as the entire crew was friendly, helpful, and courteous. They went out of their way to make each excursion special, greeting us with refreshing drinks and snacks after each fantastic excursion. The chef and her assistant were very creative and the food each day was delicious. They even made special meals for me because I don't eat fish. Leandro was incredibly accommodating, and our naturalist guide Edwin was just about the best guide we have ever had. He was knowledgeable, funny, passionate about the wildlife, and solicitous of everyone's needs. In an ideal world, everyone should sail the waters of the Galapagos at least once - and get Edwin as your guide! You will experience thrills unlike anywhere else in the world -- swimming with penguins, sea turtles, marine iguanas, rays, sea lions, harmless black-tipped sharks, a hammerhead shark and myriad colorful fish as well as observing breathtaking birds, including the mesmerizing and hilarious blue-footed booby and huge pelicans feeding their babies, giant tortoises, land iguanas, lava lizards, brilliantly colored crabs and flamingos and so much more! Imagine standing on the top deck of a boat at sunset, joined by eleven enormous frigate-birds gliding no more than twenty feet above you for half an hour. It was truly magical. San Cristobal was also a highlight, where we spent a day with a wonderful guide, Paulina. I would highly recommend Galasky to everyone. Aline and Paola made our vacation perfect.
