There is not enough time or space to tell you how wonderful Kim and Alex are. They took care of every detail. We didn’t have to worry about a thing -kind generous knowledgeable, and lots of fun. The day started with an incredible breakfast cooked by Flori. We love to keep company with the three cats in the garden- with loads of personality -and pancake the dog. Beds were comfortable, (could use a pillow upgrade) and everything was sparkling clean all the time. Wecannot recommend Kim and Alex or Alma house highly enough.💜 world best vacation and service

This is our second trip to Costa Rica, hosted and guided by Alex and KIM at Alma Travel in San José. We look forward to being with them as much as being in that wonderful country. They treat us like family and we feel very safe and cared for while we are with them. 💕💕

What an amazing adventure. Within 24 hours we felt like we’d known each other for years. We had an awesome group of women, so supportive and eager to help. The days were full and varied; interesting and informative, from making our own jade necklace to cooking Petián, from building a wood fired stove to painting a mural on a preschool wall. The days were adorned with magical moments, making every day special. I have been home 3 weeks now and I still can’t stop telling everyone about my adventures.

Kim as always led a very interesting. Interactive and inclusive trip from the South to the North of Guatemala. We saw so many sights, met beautiful local people which included assisting with the local charity Fundamaya for two days, which gave us insight into the people of Guatamala. The local guides were really helpful and supportive, sharing their knowledge. and patience be it in the kitchen or on the volcano. Thank you again Kim, Alma will always be my number one.

This trip was fantastic! It was my first group trip and my first with Alma Travel and I have just booked my next one less than two days after returning from Guatemala! The itinerary was well organised, we learned so much about Guatemala, it's culture, it's people, it's food, it's wildlife and it's Mayan history. I loved the work we did with the charity Fundamaya over 2 days. It was so rewarding. Our guide Kim was wonderful. She was always enthusiastic and knowledgeable and available and kept us informed of each day's activities.
