After settling into your hotel and taking time to relax, we'll gather in the evening for a special welcome dinner at&nbsp;The Orangery, London's first hydroponic farm-to-table restaurant.Enjoy an exclusive dining experience with private seating surrounded by the restaurant's remarkable indoor vertical hydroponic gardens. Day 1

Following breakfast, we'll travel to the magnificent Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, one of the world's most celebrated botanical gardens and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Our visit begins with a private guided tour, offering fascinating insights into Kew's history, remarkable plant collections, and groundbreaking botanical research. After the tour, we'll enjoy an elegant afternoon tea at the Botanical Brasserie, overlooking the gardens.The remainder of the afternoon is yours to explore at your own pace. Wander through the Palm House, Temperate House, Treetop Walkway, and beautifully curated gardens before returning to London.We'll gather again in the evening for a group dinner and reflect on our first full day together.

Day 2

Today is the highlight of our journey—the world-famous Chelsea Flower Show.We'll begin the morning with a stroll through&nbsp;Chelsea in Bloom&nbsp;and&nbsp;Belgravia in Bloom, where the streets are transformed with spectacular floral installations and creative displays inspired by the Chelsea Flower Show.The remainder of the day is dedicated to exploring the Chelsea Flower Show itself. From award-winning show gardens and breathtaking floral exhibits to innovative garden design and emerging horticultural trends, there is something to inspire every gardener. Rachel will be available throughout the day to offer recommendations and help you tailor your visit based on your interests.Guests may also choose to purchase tickets that include a seated lunch within the showgrounds for an enhanced experience.We'll conclude this unforgettable day with a celebratory group dinner.

Chelsea Flower Show

Day 3

After breakfast we leave the bustle of London behind and journey into the beautiful English countryside.Our first stop is&nbsp;Down House, home of Charles Darwin. Surrounded by gardens, orchards, and experimental plots, Down House served as both a family home and a living laboratory. Darwin carried out countless observations and experiments on plants, earthworms, insects, and other aspects of nature, using the grounds to test his scientific theories. It was also here that he wrote many of his most influential works, including&nbsp;On the Origin of Species, published in 1859, which introduced the theory of evolution by natural selection.The afternoon is spent at&nbsp;RHS Garden Wisley, the flagship garden of the Royal Horticultural Society. Depending on availability, we'll join one of the garden's educational talks or workshops, or Rachel will lead a guided walk highlighting Wisley's outstanding collections, innovative plantings, and seasonal displays.This evening we settle into Wootton House, where we'll enjoy dinner featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Into the Countryside

Day 4

An early departure allows us to arrive at one of England's most iconic landscape gardens.At&nbsp;Stourhead, Rachel of Plant School, will lead a walking tour exploring the history and design of this eighteenth-century masterpiece, where lakes, temples, bridges, and carefully framed vistas combine to create one of the finest landscape gardens in Europe.After lunch, we travel toward the ancient monument of&nbsp;Stonehenge, allowing time to explore one of the world's most fascinating prehistoric sites.Later in the afternoon we visit&nbsp;Mottisfont Abbey, renowned for its extraordinary rose gardens. Evening visits offer a particularly magical atmosphere as the roses fill the air with fragrance and the gardens take on the warm glow of late afternoon light.Dinner this evening is a picnic in the rose garden.

Day 5

The morning begins with a leisurely stroll through the gardens surrounding Wootton House before departing for one of England's most influential gardens.Our first destination is&nbsp;Sissinghurst Castle Garden, created by Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicolson. Famous for its intimate "garden rooms," romantic planting style, and celebrated White Garden, Sissinghurst remains one of the world's most admired garden designs.After lunch, we'll continue to&nbsp;Great Dixter, the remarkable home and garden of Christopher Lloyd. Known for its bold planting combinations, innovative design, and exuberant borders, Great Dixter continues to inspire gardeners from around the globe.

Kent

Day 6

You can't come to England without stopping by some castles!Spend the day exploring two of Kent's most enchanting historic castles, where Tudor history, romantic ruins, and beautifully landscaped gardens come together.Begin the day at&nbsp;Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. Surrounded by a picturesque moat and immaculate gardens, the castle offers a fascinating glimpse into Tudor life.In the afternoon, we head to&nbsp;Scotney Castle, one of England's most romantic National Trust properties. We will wander throughniconic moated Victorian mansion ruins, woodland paths, and sweeping gardens filled with seasonal flowers.Take your time exploring the estate, stopping for tea and cake at the National Trust café before we head back to London.

After breakfast, our memorable week exploring England's finest gardens comes to an end. Airport transfers are on you own, but we are around to give advice and guide you on how to use the easy national rail system. You'll return home with new friendships, unforgettable memories, endless inspiration, and countless ideas to bring back to your own garden.

Lucerne is the perfect introduction to Switzerland - a fairytale city of medieval bridges, turquoise lake water, and mountains that seem to lean in close. It's the kind of place that stops you mid-sentence. Plan to arrive in Lucerne by 4pm to check into the hotel, freshen up, and settle in. This evening we gather for a welcome dinner together - a chance to meet the other families, share where you're coming from, and feel the first flutter of what this week is going to be. Afterward, if you have the energy, stay for a drink and a get-to-know-you game. If you're jet-lagged and need to head for sleep, we completely understand.

<h3>Ferry, Train &amp; the Summit of Mt. Pilatus</h3>We move the way Switzerland was meant to be traveled - by boat, train, and cable car.The morning begins with a ferry ride across the glittering surface of Lake Lucerne, followed by a cogwheel train that climbs to the summit of Mt. Pilatus at 2,128 meters. Up top, the Alps open up in every direction and the air is thin and electric. Together we'll tackle the ropes courses, race down the alpine slide, and spend as long as you like taking in views that make you feel genuinely small in the best possible way.

Above the Clouds

<h3>Via Ferrata &amp; the Slopes of Engelberg</h3>We leave the tourist trail behind today and head to Engelberg - a valley town hemmed in by peaks, where the adventure is big and the crowds are nowhere to be found. The highlight is a via ferrata, a guided climb along fixed iron rungs bolted into the mountainside. It's challenging, it's a little scary, and it is so worth it - especially when you look down from a ledge you climbed together and realize what you just did. The afternoon brings an alpine slide and a hike with a marble run built right into the trail. Pure joy.

Hidden Gem- Engelberg

<h3>Turquoise Water &amp; Chalet Nights</h3>We pack up and board the train to Brienz, a village so beautiful it looks like someone turned a painting into a place to live. The lake here - Lake Brienz - is an impossible shade of turquoise, fed by glacial meltwater and framed by forested mountains. Check into our chalet-style accommodation (yes, an actual Swiss chalet), then spend the afternoon on a short hike or swimming in the lake. This is a quieter day by design - a breath between bigger adventures, and a chance to simply be somewhere extraordinary together. In the afternoon we’ll head to the “most picturesque street in europe” for some cute pictures!

Brienz

<h3>Valley of 72 Waterfalls: Biking Lauterbrunnen</h3>The Lauterbrunnen Valley is one of those places that makes people stop walking and just stare. Sheer limestone cliffs rise 300 meters on either side, 72 waterfalls pour down through the mist, and the valley floor is so green it almost hurts. After breakfast we train and hop on bikes for a ride through the valley to Lauterbrunnen - with options for every ability level, so no one gets left behind. A picnic lunch in the meadow. Then the afternoon is yours: take the train up to Wengen or Murren, both car-free villages perched on the clifftop, or continue to the base of the Staubbach Falls, one of the highest free-falling waterfalls in Europe. Either way, you'll feel like you've wandered into a storybook.

Lauterbrunnen Valley

<h3>Go Big: Glacier Canyon, Zip Lines &amp; Mountain Carts in Grindelwald</h3>This is the day that will be talked about for years. We head up to Grindelwald, a mountain town set against the dramatic north face of the Eiger, for the biggest adventure day of the trip. Expect screaming, laughing, and an adrenaline level you'll still feel at lunch.

The last morning comes too soon - but the week you've had will stay with you. We make our way back to Lucerne for goodbyes. There will be hugs, exchanged contacts, and probably a few promises about the next trip. Then you're off on your own, headed home carrying something that can't fit in a suitcase: a new level of trust between you and your kid, the memory of a leap you took together, and the quiet certainty that you're both a little braver than you were a week ago. Please arrange departure flights from Zurich or Geneva on the afternoon/evening of June 29th.
