The trip was great in every way. Accomdations and food were top notch. The hosts were the best... always taking care of us. Highly recommended.

A great trip around Switzerland and through the Alps was had! The trip's itinerary was well layed out, taking advantage of the country's complex and far reaching rail system. I appreciate the planning that went into making this journey one of daily awe and adventure. Kudos to our guides Sven and Collin. Sven, being the lead, had obviously put in significant pre-trip preparation to assure all was in readiness for the trip. Collin joined in to be a significant support to Sven - they made a great team. With their efforts, we had a most successful time on the rails. Only one issue: this review tool sucks, not a user friendly tool.

If you're willing to pay the price, Switzerland is all it's cracked up to be, and more! The main problem with the tour was early mornings; e.g., luggage pickup at 7:30 am. Tourists need sleep, like everyone else. Of the 9 tourists on our tour, all but one were old (I'm 83, wife 75). Suggest you extend the tour a few more days and reduce early morning activity.

I enjoyed this trip and would go again. I think the overall plan was well thought out. The tour guides Molly and Rachiel did a fantastic job. The accommodations were good. My only complaint is the silence between the down payment and one month before the trip. I wondered many times if the tour was actually going to happen. "In the absence of information, the worst is usually assumed". Naturally, I was disappointed that the Cumbres and Toltec excursion did not happen and I wonder if some other arrangement could have been made. The bottom line is I recommend this trip to anyone that has an interest in tourist railways at a moderate level.
