We had an amazing trip! Antonio was such a great leader. He worked so hard to make sure every need was met. He went above and beyond! I loved his surprises and his patience! Caroline was so encouraging and creative! She made every participant feel important and gifted even though we had never picked up a paint brush! I found my inner creativity!!

I just returned home from an art retreat tour led by Antonio and the American artist Caroline Simas. To say it was absolutely delightful doesn't do the trip justice. Antonio found the most charming restaurants, quaint villages, and art inspired excursions for us to enjoy. He not only took us to a winery where we had not only a tasting, but arranged for a tour and a private dinner with the owner. In every detail Antonio went above and beyond to ensure that our trip was as bespoke as the name of his company. In addition, Antonio himself was charming, thoughtful, and engaging. If you are looking for personal attention and a wonderful travel experience organized by someone who has a passion to share his knowledge and insight into the area he calls home, I highly recommend Antonio.

I had a really wonderful time, way beyond my expectation. Antonio is a consummate professional, managing a group of 14 women with patience and grace. The resort was beautiful. The staff members were capable and attentive, and the food and wines were great. Also, the excursions fitted perfectly with the art retreat. I would love to travel with Bespoke Travels and Antonio again.

What truly made the trip exceptional, however, was our amazing tour guide, Antonio. Antonio was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly passionate about Portugal’s history, culture, and traditions. As a local, his knowledge of the areas we explored was truly impressive. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt comfortable, engaged, and excited throughout the journey. His storytelling brought every location to life, and his recommendations for local food, hidden gems, and cultural experiences made the trip even more authentic and memorable. The result was a truly immersive experience that allowed us to connect deeply with Portugal and its culture. Another highlight of the trip was the accommodations. Each place we stayed had its own charm and character, offering a far more authentic and memorable experience than standard hotels. Many of the accommodations were beautifully restored historic buildings that reflected the culture and beauty of Portugal perfectly. It felt as though every location had been carefully selected to give us a deeper connection to the places we visited. The food was another standout part of the experience. From fresh seafood and traditional Portuguese dishes to participating in the making of traditional pastries like Pastel de Nata, every meal and activity was exceptional. Antonio made sure we experienced the best local spots while helping us appreciate the history and culture behind the cuisine. Overall, Portugal exceeded my expectations in every way, and much of that was because of Antonio’s outstanding guidance and care. His professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail turned a great vacation into a truly unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Portugal, especially if you have the opportunity to travel with Antonio. I would gladly join another one of his tours in the future.
