Mi viaje a Tailandia fue realmente una de las experiencias más significativas e inolvidables que he vivido, y estoy muy agradecida de haber tomado la decisión de hacer este viaje. Soy mexicana-americana y hablo español e inglés. Aunque el inglés no es mi primer idioma y sé que no es perfecto, siempre hice lo mejor que pude para comunicarme con mis compañeras y participar en cada experiencia. Quiero reconocer especialmente a Patty, nuestra guía turística, porque a pesar de nuestra barrera del idioma, siempre hizo un gran esfuerzo por comunicarse conmigo, asegurarse de que entendiera todo e incluirme en cada momento del viaje. Su paciencia, amabilidad y excelente comunicación significaron muchísimo para mí. Este viaje llegó justo en el momento que más lo necesitaba. El último año fue muy estresante para mí. Estuve terminando mi maestría mientras trabajaba tiempo completo, haciendo una internship y mudándome a una nueva ciudad. Fue un año lleno de responsabilidades, cambios y muchos retos, y realmente necesitaba este viaje. Mirando hacia atrás, sinceramente creo que fue una de las mejores decisiones que pude tomar para cerrar mis últimos 20s. Estoy por cumplir 30 años el 2 de septiembre, y no podría haber imaginado una mejor manera de cerrar esta etapa de mi vida que saliendo de mi zona de confort y viviendo algo completamente nuevo. Antes de este viaje, nunca había viajado fuera de América. Tailandia fue mi primera experiencia viajando tan lejos de casa, y me permitió conocer una cultura completamente diferente, su comida, tradiciones, historia y forma de vida. Como mexicana-americana, vivir una experiencia cultural tan diferente a la mía fue especialmente significativo para mí. Lo que más me sorprendió fue descubrir que, aunque la cultura tailandesa y la mexicana son muy diferentes, también tienen algunas similitudes muy bonitas. Cada cultura tiene sus propias tradiciones y su manera única de expresarlas, pero pude encontrar ciertos valores, la calidez de las personas, la importancia de la familia, la hospitalidad y algunas formas de celebrar la vida que me resultaron familiares. Descubrir esas similitudes mientras aprendía y apreciaba nuestras diferencias hizo que la experiencia fuera todavía más especial. Me encantó encontrar esa conexión entre dos culturas que, al principio, parecían estar tan lejos una de la otra. Una de las cosas que más me conmovió fueron las personas de Tailandia. Me parecieron personas increíblemente acogedoras, amables, respetuosas y cálidas. Su hospitalidad va mucho más allá de la experiencia turística. No fueron solamente las personas que trabajan en el turismo quienes nos trataron tan bien; en general, pude sentir mucha amabilidad y calidez de parte de las personas que conocimos. Me encantó simplemente compartir tiempo en este país, convivir con su gente y disfrutar de esos pequeños momentos cotidianos, además de conocer los lugares tan hermosos que visitamos. Y tener a Patty como nuestra guía hizo que la experiencia fuera todavía más especial. Fue amable, paciente, atenta, conocedora y siempre se preocupó por que todos tuviéramos una excelente experiencia. Me hizo sentir cómoda incluso en los momentos en los que podía sentirme insegura por el idioma, y siempre voy a valorar mucho eso. Llegué a Tailandia buscando una aventura, pero me llevé mucho más que eso. Me llevo recuerdos hermosos, experiencias inolvidables, nuevas amistades, un mayor conocimiento y aprecio por otra cultura, y momentos que llevaré en mi corazón para toda la vida. Tailandia siempre tendrá un lugar muy especial en mi corazón. Estoy profundamente agradecida de haberme dado la oportunidad de conocer este hermoso país, aprender de su cultura, conectar con su gente y descubrir similitudes con mis raíces mexicanas de una manera que nunca imaginé. Gracias, Patty, por ser una guía increíble y por formar parte de un capítulo tan especial de mi vida. 🇹🇭❤️

Iceland is the most beautiful country ive ever seen! Ella is a girl’s girl for sure! Great group to share the mems :P <3 but no srsly, Yana did it again with the itinerary, & Ella is the goat of execution! This Midnight Sun excursion had a Black Friday sale, and i figured itd be an interesting week-long outing in a place i’d never think to visit otherwise. As always, despite being a shorter Wander Where trip, all the hotspots were hit and i left in awe at the organic scenery i had the privilege to tour through. it’s unlike anything to walk the city at 1am and it stills feels like 8pm. To ride the flybus to the airport and ride by absolutely gorgeous scenic route, trying to take pictures thinking THAT was the view- only to arrive at our actual destination to be blown away by what earth has to offer. it’s was hard to believe what i was seeing was real. i could go on, but anywho! ive been on 2 other trips with Yana and Scott, but it was so interesting to experience another host with an entirely different personality and vibe. i absolutely loved Ella (Yana, youve got a keeper!!) Ella was on the GROUND with us every step of the way from sunup to sunup lol cause you know the sun didnt go down! She was down for whatever, so you can rest assured that you can explore the way youd like and know that Ella has the stamina to be OUTSIDEE. Had a great time exploring Iceland with a great group of women, including the perfect leader, Ella! I appreciate how Ella was professional by answering all of our questions, sending out daily updates in the group chat, and keeping us all in line. But I also adore the fact that she was one of us as well, venturing out into the night with us, getting all the angles, and even brought the cutest old school video cam to make us our very own video to look back on… best souvenir ever!! It made us all feel as one which was very comforting! As a type A travel girlie, the packed itinerary kept us booked and busy which is just how I like it! I was having such a good time that I even booked my next wanderwhereadventure trip while in Iceland! 10/10 recommend for anyone looking to travel solo, but not alone! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

This trip to Iceland was my first ever solo trip and my first trip with Wander Where Adventures. Words cannot express how amazing of a time I had. It was such a great experience to explore a new part of the world with a group of likeminded women in such an open and inclusive environment. We had an amazing local tour guide where we saw the most breathtaking views that looked straight out of computer background screen. I genuinely could not believe I was witnessing these things in real life. Each day was jam packed with multiple experiences where we able to maximize our time in Iceland while there was still allotted time for downtime and rest after the day was over. Not only did the beautiful country make this trip unforgettable, but it can be also be accredited to our wonderful group leader Ella. Ella truly radiated nonjudgmental big sister energy. If I was 12 years old and I got my period for the first time at sleep-away camp, she would be the camp counselor I’d go to for help. This was my first time visiting a new country by myself, and she truly made me feel incredibly safe and comfortable. ANY question I had during the trip or leading up to the trip, she answered in such a timely fashion without being irritated or annoyed by repeated questions lol. She had the best recommendations for breakfast/coffee spots, excursion companies, where to get dinner or lunch, nightlife recommendations, where to get a quick snack, etc. She was always available to take the best photos of the group and make fun tiktoks. She is truly a girl’s girl and made the trip felt like a big girls trip with friends I’ve known forever rather than girls I met a couple of days ago. I cannot recommend this company enough, especially for first time solo travelers. I am an anxious girly and my worries completely melted away traveling with this group. I was genuinely shocked at how comfortable I felt. I left this trip with unforgettable memories and new friendships , I have already booked my next trip with the company haha! If you book here, you are in for a treat and you will definitely get your money’s worth !

I had an incredible time in Iceland and couldn’t recommend this trip more! From exploring the breathtaking Golden Circle to experiencing Iceland’s nightlife with the group, every day was packed with unforgettable memories. A huge thank you to our tour guide, Ella, who made the experience so special. She was incredibly knowledgeable, organized, and always happy to answer questions or share interesting facts about Iceland. Her passion for curating a great vibe and traveling really came through and made every stop even more meaningful. One of the best parts of the trip was the group itself. Everyone was so welcoming, and Ella created such a fun, safe, and inclusive environment that made it easy to relax, make friends, and fully enjoy the experience. Whether we were sightseeing during the day or heading out for fun nights together, it always felt like we were traveling with friends. If you’re thinking about visiting Iceland, this is absolutely the way to do it. Amazing scenery, great company, expert guidance, and memories I’ll never forget. Five stars all around!
