Jambo! Jambo bwanaaa! 🇹🇿 This greeting and song is permanently stuck with me after meeting the lovely people of Tanzania & Zanzibar. Everyone across the mainland and island is warm, welcoming, and so kind. This trip is called Tanzania: Safari to Sea and that’s really what it was. We spent so much time looking for animals in Tarangire National Park & the Ngorongoro Crater, spent time with 3 tribes: the Maasai, the Hadzabe (where we learned to hunt and use bow & arrows!), and the Datoga. And the FOOOOOOD!!! Everything was amazing. Wander Where’s itinerary for this trip is OUTSTANDING and worth every penny. Beyond that, I can’t say enough about our guides. Maasai & Colin in Tanzania truly made our trip what it was, even amongst seeing safari animals, meeting tribes, and being immersed in the culture. Maasai and Colin truly care about your experience, make everything fun, make you feel safe and cared for at all points. Colin went with us to Zanzibar and we met our other guides, Innocent (Innoh) and Mustafa. They were both amazing! Mustafa was a gem to have on the island with us- he went to school for history/tourism and educated us all in groups and on 1:1 settings and I learned invaluable information about not only Zanzibar’s history, but Tanzania’s, Africa as a whole, and beyond the continent. In Zanzibar, we went out to experience nightlife and Colin & Innoh were with us every time making sure we were safe & had fun!! Iceland is the most beautiful country ive ever seen! Ella is a girl’s girl for sure! Great group to share the mems :P <3 but no srsly, Yana did it again with the itinerary, & Ella is the goat of execution! This Midnight Sun excursion had a Black Friday sale, and i figured itd be an interesting week-long outing in a place i’d never think to visit otherwise. As always, despite being a shorter Wander Where trip, all the hotspots were hit and i left in awe at the organic scenery i had the privilege to tour through. it’s unlike anything to walk the city at 1am and it stills feels like 8pm. To ride the flybus to the airport and ride by absolutely gorgeous scenic route, trying to take pictures thinking THAT was the view- only to arrive at our actual destination to be blown away by what earth has to offer. it’s was hard to believe what i was seeing was real. i could go on, but anywho! ive been on 2 other trips with Yana and Scott, but it was so interesting to experience another host with an entirely different personality and vibe. i absolutely loved Ella (Yana, youve got a keeper!!) Ella was on the GROUND with us every step of the way from sunup to sunup lol cause you know the sun didnt go down! She was down for whatever, so you can rest assured that you can explore the way youd like and know that Ella has the stamina to be OUTSIDEE. This trip to Iceland was my first ever solo trip and my first trip with Wander Where Adventures. Words cannot express how amazing of a time I had. It was such a great experience to explore a new part of the world with a group of likeminded women in such an open and inclusive environment. We had an amazing local tour guide where we saw the most breathtaking views that looked straight out of computer background screen. I genuinely could not believe I was witnessing these things in real life. Each day was jam packed with multiple experiences where we able to maximize our time in Iceland while there was still allotted time for downtime and rest after the day was over. Not only did the beautiful country make this trip unforgettable, but it can be also be accredited to our wonderful group leader Ella. Ella truly radiated nonjudgmental big sister energy. If I was 12 years old and I got my period for the first time at sleep-away camp, she would be the camp counselor I’d go to for help. This was my first time visiting a new country by myself, and she truly made me feel incredibly safe and comfortable. ANY question I had during the trip or leading up to the trip, she answered in such a timely fashion without being irritated or annoyed by repeated questions lol. She had the best recommendations for breakfast/coffee spots, excursion companies, where to get dinner or lunch, nightlife recommendations, where to get a quick snack, etc. She was always available to take the best photos of the group and make fun tiktoks. She is truly a girl’s girl and made the trip felt like a big girls trip with friends I’ve known forever rather than girls I met a couple of days ago. I cannot recommend this company enough, especially for first time solo travelers. I am an anxious girly and my worries completely melted away traveling with this group. I was genuinely shocked at how comfortable I felt. I left this trip with unforgettable memories and new friendships , I have already booked my next trip with the company haha! If you book here, you are in for a treat and you will definitely get your money’s worth !

This is my second trip through Wander Where Adventures and it once again exceeded all of my expectations! There is truly no better way to travel! Everything is so well organized and so thoughtfully planned out. You can tell Yana and Scott put their entire heart into these trips. Not to mention, these are two of the best people i’ve gotten the privilege to meet. You will feel so welcomed the second you meet them! Meeting girls from all over and creating friendships and memories throughout the trip is one of the best experiences. I could not recommend traveling with them more! I already have my third trip booked and cannot wait to travel with them once again! Book it, you will not regret it!

I went to Guatemala with Wander for my first ever group trip, and not gonna lie… they set the bar really high for anything I do next Ayana and Scott were incredibly kind, supportive, easy to talk to and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. They gave us great advice before the hike, even went grocery shopping with us to help us prepare, and really took the time to listen to our needs. You can tell they genuinely care about the people they travel with (love you guys ❤️❤️) I did both the Acatenango and Fuego hikes and yes it was definitely challenging but was such a rewarding experience, the views were insane, the feeling of making it to the top is something I’ll never forget and the whole journey was so worth it And Guatemala itself I loved it. The food was sooo good, everything is fresh, local, and full of flavor. We also did really fun activities that made the trip feel more than just a hike. It felt like we were actually experiencing the country not just passing through If you’re hesitating about booking this trip just go for it, It’s an incredible experience!!!
