My 14 year old daughter completed her Open Water certification with Be Water Divers. Excellent experience from our initial communication via What’s App from Canada, to our 4 open water dives in Costa Rica. Nico and his team were professional and courteous. Our instructor Enes was patient and thorough. A real gem. I’ve dived for over 35 years and worked as a PADI instructor in the past. I recommend Be Water Divers for a great scuba diving experience while in Tamarindo.

Highly recommend! Our family did a mix of snorkeling and scuba diving and had an amazing time. The team was so amazing, they are highly skilled and provided a very fun and safe experience. You get to dive / snorkel in two different areas. Overall great experience!

Had a wonderful trip with Be Water Diving. Super attentive and friendly crew. Took 3 kids on a first time dive and felt completely safe the whole time. Everyone was super patient. Saw some amazing wildlife. Highly recommended.

I would say more like 4.5 stars. Overall, a good dive day--not colorful coral, but lots of fish and critters (several morays, a ray, a baby shark, and many starfish). It was a Discover Scuba experience for my nephew, and a Refresher dive for me. We did not have equipment with us, and it was included in the price of our dive. It was pretty much "hands-off" diving--the guides took care of all the equipment for us. I thought our guide did a great job (Lucas). I would take a half-star off for the lack of information as we checked in that morning. I was a bit confused when we were given fins, but no other equipment going to the boat. It turns out the rest was on the boat, but being a woman of a larger size, I wish I knew for sure the BCD would fit me before we got ferried out the dive boat. I booked through another shop and this was who they booked us with. I think in future I'd book directly with this dive shop rather than book through a surf school that also offered scuba.
